Keep in mind that all the radicalz took low salary costs to get to WWE. The reason that Eddie's base salary was so low was because he took that contract in 2000 (and I'm guessing his new contract in 2002 was probably about the same or even lower, given the circumstances). My understanding of WWE contracts has always been: if x = downside guaranty and y = % cut of merchandise, house shows, etc. then the wrestler's salary is the higher of the two (x or y).
