theintensifier Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 At least they make good money doing what they like to do for a living. Our military makes almost nothing, well, E-5 and below. I made $12,000 for a full year of service in the Marine Corps. Kinda makes you feel unappreciated in a way. Sports stars, movie actors, they make millions of dollars, but they don't carry a M-16 on their shoulder guarding this country prepared to die if necessary.
Guest JRE Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 Looks like Striker kept his teaching salary.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 I'm reallly amazed how little Eddie made, I wonder when he signed his last contract.
Guest treecelightning Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 Am I the only one shocked by this? "Kane: $ 851,000 (First class flight tickets paid for every week)" Hell, for 850,000 I wouldn't complain about necrophilia They might have something in there for former WWE/World champions. That's the only reason I can think of that Kane, Big Show, and Randy Orton have first class tickets paid for. I don't know about Randy, but if I were Kane or Big Show I'd insist on this stipulation. Can you imagine trying to fit one of their frames in a coach seat? Though it does look like you're correct on the former champion issue.

Military folks get a LOT of perks, though, that makes living a tad easier.
Guest Timmer Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 When did Big Show jump from WCW to WWE? I thought when he jumped, he signed a huge long term deal with WWE...at least a 10 year deal? Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 I think the Big Show jump in late 1998/ early 1999. His first appearance was during the cage match at St. Valentine's Massacre.

milliondollarchamp Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Does Maria do houseshows? I read somewhere that after raw Maria goes to OVW to train and she also Works shows for Jerry Lawler's Memphis Wrestling promotion.
Enigma Posted March 24, 2006 Author Report Posted March 24, 2006 Big Show debuted in the WWF in February 1999, but by November 1998, it was well known that he was not going to re-sign with WCW and was jumping to the WWF when his no-compete expired. Contracts in the Monday Night War era were written/modified so that even if your contract expired, you couldn't appear on opposition television (ECW didn't count) for at least 30 days. So they had Diamond Dallas Page pretty much squash him at Starrcade 1998 and a week or two later on his final Nitro, they had the nWo turn on him and tear him apart and Eric Bischoff cut a burying promo on him while holding his unconscious head up to the camera.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Big Show debuted in the WWF in February 1999, but by November 1998, it was well known that he was not going to re-sign with WCW and was jumping to the WWF when his no-compete expired. The finish for that match was actually dependant on Show’s decision, as WCW still wasn’t sure until just before then if he was going. If Show had stuck around, he was going to win somehow, but if he was leaving, which he did, it was going to be a clean loss. The deal for Show coming in to WWE was put together about a year before he jumped, but for obvious reasons it was kept very quiet.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Nash was also called "The corporate Giant" on Nitro for 2-3 weeks after Starcade, as it was feared that was going to be Paul Wight's WWF name
Dandy Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 I like when the called Show "Big Nasty" Paul Wight, as an opposite of Nash's "Big Sexy."
Silence Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 I like when the called Show "Big Nasty" Paul Wight, as an opposite of Nash's "Big Sexy." You mean "Big Poochie", even though that's our term for Kevin Nash.
Vampiro69 Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 I remember that the reason they stopped calling him Big Nasty was because former NBA player Corliss Williamson's nickname was Big Nasty and there was fear of a lawsuit taking place.
RonL21 Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Can whoever started this get some updates on the salaries...
TheFranchise Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 "- Triple H: $2,013,000 (Allowed the personal use of company jet (10) times per year. First class flight tickets, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation paid for every week)" Triple H *is* the one making all the money. Damn. "Undertaker: $1,811,000 (First class flight tickets, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation paid for every week)" Wrestles....how many times per year? Say what you want, but if you're in this position, you know what you're doing.
Thanks for the Fish Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 These salaries are a joke considering how much the boys are on the road and the physical toll their bodies take over a career. Let's hope for thei rsake TNA takes off and becomes a viable competitor. VKM must swim in a money bin like Scrooge McDuck...
benn Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 VKM must swim in a money bin like Scrooge McDuck... I always wondered what that would be like.
Vampiro69 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 VKM must swim in a money bin like Scrooge McDuck... I always wondered what that would be like. Let me tell you it is the best feeling in the world.
BUTT Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Dave Meltzer said a while back that some of these are fairly accurate and others aren't.
Guest futureproof Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I can confirm that the Jerry Lawler salary is false. He is actually paid in adolecent young girls.
Toxxic Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 That's gotta be false. It's pre-pubescent young girls, surely.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 http://contracts.onecle.com/alpha/3514.shtml A listing of WWE contracts.
Guest jlvideo Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 What about the salaries of the new guys on ecw or guys they brought back like: test jeff hardy(now his push as i-c champ) jamie noble(what will he do now that there's no pitbulls?) hacksaw duggan What do the road agents get for being on tv for nostalic purposes: slaughter, dusty, dibiase, rotunda, piper(i don't think he's an agent),arn anderson.
BUTT Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Guys, this salary list isn't real. At least not entirely.
Guest A.BUTCHER'S HOUSE OF RIBS Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I hope Sabu is making a decent salary. If anyone deserves to be making good money and have a good health plan it's Sabu.
Enigma Posted October 27, 2006 Author Report Posted October 27, 2006 Guys, this salary list isn't real. At least not entirely. Dave Meltzer disagrees. At the time, someone e-mailed the list to Meltzer and he said they all looked pretty accurate.
