what the hell was up with hbk and cena at the end of the show ?

Wow did that get gay right at the end there.

Thank god the camera cut away.

Well, other than the awesomeness of the Mickie/Trish storyline, Mania is really looking worse and worse by the day. RAW was very throw away, not much to remember. Mick gives his same old "reverting back to Jack bang bang blah blah" speech, Vince and Shane do stuff to annoy Shawn and no one cares (everytime Vince talked, he was met with pure silence), Masters/Carlito against Kane/Show looks well like it'll just be there and I don't think I even remember the three way match.

Who would have thought Mickie James and Trish would have been needed to save RAW's side of Mania from totally sucking.

I really think that as long as they dont do something stupid in the follow up or do this angle 87 times next month, The Kiss will be something we remember for years

The Trish/Mickie Segment is up at wwe.com. Front page kids.

That was so fucking hot.

Why? I mean, seriously. The angle itself has been done before, it's just that Mickie is better at it then most are. If this was this type of performence in a b movie, it'd be an absolute joke. So C level acting on a D level show deserves praise?

Trish, is a horrible face. Mickie is carrying this whole thing. We need some sort of motivation for why we should care about poor beautiful Trish having a cute stalker girl chasing her. A weak kiss shared by two females, only enhanced by the addition of blood (which was unintentional) doesn't warrant "We will remember this for years" type of praise.

The kiss was something of interest and it delivered tonight but it wasn't historic.

I don't know why the blood had to have been intentional. It made the segment and made it the only decent match going into Mania.

It was also the culmination of a six month storyline that was the best written one in years (There's a reason we still talk about the Love Triangle and the first Angle/Stephanie kiss in there-the writing was good). In the storyline we saw Mickie get progressively crazier, turning into a psuedo Fatal Attraction storyline. The lunatic got rid of Trish's friends one by one (I really hope they try to play up that Mickie broke Ashley's leg) with Ashley and Torrie, got rid of her boyfriend, and finally kidnapped her best friend and threatened to torture her. And it all ended with a bloody kiss.

This wasnt big soley for the kiss, but because the kiss was the best possible peak to the best angle in years.

I don't see how the blood wasn't intentional. I doubt Trish make so much contact with her to make Laree bleed... plus, the camera panned away while Laree was touching her face outside the ring.

It was a bloody nose. Its hard to stage that.

Yeah, I think the blood was meant to be there. It really played up her crazy to an entirely new level. Before she was just "fatal attraction" crazy but the blood with the kiss pushed her to the "holy shit dude" level of insane.

ETA: Intentional or not, it made the segment that much more f*cked.

When Vince gets cheered against Cena, who'll be the first one to tell him it's because he can't work heel?

No one. When Vince gets cheered against Cena, it'll be because Cena doesn't know how to work face. Also, Spongebob. And the war in Iraq.

ETA: Damn, this is something they've blamed Jericho for. nevermind

Vince's mentality at the end was bizarre...

He couldn't have Cena face HHH because:

a) That's a Mania main event

b) HHH would probably get angry because apparently he only wants to fight Cena at Mania

He couldn't have Cena face Shane because:

a) Shane can beat HBK but wouldn't be able to beat Cena????

b) He didn't know if, as the CEO of the damn company, he would be able to stack the deck against Cena the same way he has done against HBK for the past few months??

So he had to pick himself because:

a) His ego

b) He know that, as the CEO of the damn company, he would be able to stack the deck against Cena the same way he has done against HBK for the past few months but this time he would REALLY get the glory by pinning one of his champions AND someone who is MAIN EVENTING THE BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR.

So in Vince's kayfabe mind, he wants to be better than everyone else, because nobody (not even the challenger) would be able to beat Cena in a non-title Raw main event. Vince's kayfabed mind is too warped in the businessman and evil revenge aspects, where it seems he wants to save certain matches for bigger shows, yet still wants his enemies destroyed without neccessarily using their bigger show opponents.

Raw sucks from the moment the announce team speaks:

Jerry Lawler blowing Bret Hart during the HoF hype as "great" and being a total babyface to describe him is just disgusting. The two had the feud of the year and were once the glue that held Raw together during the mid-90s.

Joey Styles being a shill and marking out for RVD's blown spots and simple dives is disgusting. He marking out for HBK just slaps his former ECW fans in the face, as well.

The Coach is a heat dog, and does anything he can to put heat on himself while not positively reinforcing the crowd to cheer for the babyfaces. I wish he'd be fired first.

God, Raw was horrid. The most anticipated match at Mania is the *WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH*. Time to do something drastic.

RAW thoughts:

Horrible show....horrible announcing.....horrible PPV they are hyping.

Horrible..that's I can say about WWE right now. When the women's match has had the most interesting build something is wrong.

Does Vince have to be on TV so much?? He is just so over the top that you can't even suspend disbelief anymore with him. We get it that your the owner of the company and you think your the ultimate heel...but please go back to being behind the scenes...please...and take your son with you.

WWE needs to make some SERIOUS changes after Wrestlemania.

It's time to get back to the basics...it's time to get back to something that resembels pro wrestling again. It's time to build up some guys who never get on TV and make the fans care about them....maybe get a few of them over. It just seems like RAW is the same 10 guys with the same divas and the McMahons EVERY week...I am ready to see a change, WWE right now is BEYOND STALE...and no I am not going to buy Wrestlemania.

Watching the segment again, it looks like if the injury was legit, it was on a Trish forearm at the very end.

Something that is overlooked and may have been because she was in pain, but right before Mickie DDT'd Trish, her eyes were filled with tears. Which intentional or not, was great.

For a minute, I was starting to wonder if I was the only person who thought like that...

Art Sandusky, by giving the abortion of a "match" that was the IC Title contest "** 1/2", you're saying that it was half-way to being a perfect match?

Let's be real here, those 3 were working like a bunch of untrained drunk Irish backyarders performing onstage at River Street on St. Patrick's Day.

I officially hate the Trish/Mickie storyline now. Either Mickie wins the title and does nothing with it, or Trish retains and Mickie goes away. That segment on Monday is exactly what I feared it would be, a psycho lesbian going psycho because that's what women wrestlers with lesbian overtones have to do. This angle annoyed me since NYR when they already had the match, and everyone knew Mickie was turning heel at that point. Now it's just another run of the mill Trish fights hard challenger crap that's been going on for the last four years. Except they had to have the heel make out with a bloody, unconscious girl to get people to care. I no longer care.

Should she have beena happy, jolly stalker?

Hey, the dude on Useless Moron's blog gave it ***1/4, get on him. I should also add that my happiness resulting from Mama not being there made me much more giving, and it was the only real match that got any time. **1/2 was the highest I'll give for it, so that's what it got. Certainly no higher.
