4hartthreat Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/thesimpsonsmovie/teaser/ I just wonder what role Mr. Burns will play in it. Hopefully a big one. Things involving Burns always make for the best episodes.
Downhome Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4clg4sXUnoA "I'm part of the mob!" "Teeny, take out the baby!"
Vampiro69 Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 I already like the fact that they are using stronger language in the movie.
NoCalMike Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Screw the haters, this is going to be the shit.
The Amazing Rando Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Doctor Hibbert saying "I'll kill you, you son of a bitch" is wonderful. WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN~
Jericholic82 Posted July 29, 2006 Author Report Posted July 29, 2006 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4clg4sXUnoA "I'm part of the mob!" "Teeny, take out the baby!" where did that come from?
dubq Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 I already like the fact that they are using stronger language in the movie. It's actually kind of pathetic, considering they blasted Family Guy for this sort of thing.
Jebus Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 I already like the fact that they are using stronger language in the movie. It's actually kind of pathetic, considering they blasted Family Guy for this sort of thing. "Son of a bitch" is nothing...if I hear "fuck" come out of Homer's mouth, then I'm with you.
bobobrazil1984 Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Wow that was funny! Loved maggie smashing her bottle.
Jericholic82 Posted August 2, 2006 Author Report Posted August 2, 2006 theyve used son of a bitch on the simpsons before. no biggee
dubq Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 I already like the fact that they are using stronger language in the movie. It's actually kind of pathetic, considering they blasted Family Guy for this sort of thing. "Son of a bitch" is nothing...if I hear "fuck" come out of Homer's mouth, then I'm with you. The fact of the matter is that the Simpsons shouldn't be about "stronger language" regardless of whether it's a feature film that stinks of "Direct to DVD" (at least, it should be) or something that's on Sundays @ 8pm. Then again, the Simpsons hasn't been what it used to be in god knows how many years anyway...
Special K Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 I'm willing to believe they'll work extra hard on the script. Or they could just have a million celebrity guests.
Vampiro69 Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I remember they origionally wanted to make a Simpsons movie way back around season 4 with the episode Kamp Krusty. I am curious if they are going to be able to pull this off. Regardless, I am 90% sure I will check this out in theaters.
Guest Princess Leena Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Way, way too late for this. Which is a shame. If they haven't been able to think up good ideas for 22-minute shows, for years... I don't see how filling 90+ can be any better.
FroGG_NeaL Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 I remember Greoning saying that he and alot of the guys that worked on the old shows would have a big part in this. He basically made it sound like he was going all out to make the movie as good as the show used to be.
NoCalMike Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 It's kind of ironic because "Not as funny as it used to be" still translates into being a lot funnier then 75% of anything else on TV....In my opinion at least....
Slayer Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 A Simpsons movie certainly couldn't be worse than that NASCAR Will Ferrell movie. That looks like a complete shitpile.
FroGG_NeaL Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 "He was a man who could only count... to number one."
