Wow I just read this whole thread from the beginning and it was tremendous. Downs like bottomless pits and ups like anthills. I wish i was here during the course of the whole thing (sort of like watching all Misawa/Kawada feud matches in a row instead of having to wait the 8 or so years like everyone else, or watching 90210 everyday in syndication) but it was still a nonthrillride.

 

if I could offer some further advice that you're not going to take, it would be this:

Not really cheating yourself because it's something you're doing yourself. When you do something by yourself you tend to obviously feel better about yourself.

Steroids is cheating however because it's aid and it would be extremely similar to alcohol in the scenario presented here.

Well, alcohol's more dangerous than using a remote control so you have extra guilt when you use the alcohol which makes you feel worse about yourself.

Because I need my remote to do certain things on the VCR. You can do them by hand but it's actually dangerous because you can put the VCR in the Lock posistion which I once did. That was a total mess of a situation

 

I'm also worried about TV radiation if you get too close to the screen and I have a habit of wanting to switch channels "all" the time.
