Angel_Grace_Blue 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 Aw, man. I totally do deverse a pick. I deverse like, eleventeen picks. Also, I suppose a running back would help, but until the Colts have a QB that doesn't suck during the playoffs, then it's kind of a moot point. Unless Indy decides to just run the ball the entire time, keeping it out of Peyton's hands.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 What the fuck? With Peyton, you're almost guaranteed a playoff spot. I can't think of too many quarterbacks in the league with that kind of resume. No one in the draft would be as good as Peyton in the short-term. Using a FIRST round pick on a position player when you have a guy in his prime and an elite player at that, you'd be a fucking idiot. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 Not to mention the Colts has a hugeass contract with Peyton. No way they alienate him by drafting a QB.

Angel_Grace_Blue 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 In all honesty, I wouldn't use a first round pick on a QB, however I'd easily consider it for second round and on. True, he does nearly guarantee a playoff spot, but shit, the Braves go every year, and they haven't much of anything. I'll stop at that, because I don't want to derail the mock draft thread any more about my personal opinions regarding Peyton. However, as I said, should there be nobody else willing/available to pick for Indianapolis, I'll give it a shot.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 Time has run on Miami, so we'll just use Kiper's latest mock that gives them Donte Whitmer, S, Ohio State CC pmed me the Minn. pick - Laurence Maroney (RB/Minnesota) Dallas is on the clock

the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 Just a heads up, if Loaded Glove runs the 12 hours with the Dallas pick, BX is going to make it so if the next person picking is around give an extra 15 minutes or so to let BX get it in. Also, BX is going to pick up Indy so a QB will not be needed there.

UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 The Dallas Cowboys select.. Winston Justice, OT, USC
BX 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 Good. That's who I was going to select. The consensus seems to have the Cowboys taking a FS in the first round, but this years safety talent is deep, and the 'Boys can pick up a quality safety in the second round. Although the Cowboys recently acquired OT Jason Fabini from the Jets, they simply cannot pass on Justice, who many scouts labeled a Top Ten pick. Justice will be a great OT in the league, and could fight for either starting spot this year.

LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2006 I'm fine with round two. Aww, Whitner is gone. Here's a great pic I found of him though. I'm pretty sure he's raping Betts there.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2006 : Well I personally think that Dallas Cowboys did a great job addressing their O-line issues with Winston Justice. Oh wait, look, here's the commissioner, Paul Tagliabue. Guess San Diego has made their selection... : With the 19th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers has selected Chad Jackson, WR of University of Florida. : Well I'll be damned... Positives: Superb concentration on the ball. ... Makes difficult catches in traffic. ... Excels at running underneath routes, but has speed and burst to turn them into long gains. ... Has size (6-1 and 201 pounds) and strength to fight off jams at the line. ... Runs precise routes. Negatives: NFL teams don't know how effective he can be on deep routes because he didn't run many of them in college. ... Must improve blocking technique and develop a more aggressive attitude toward making contact. Poster's Note: While I wasn't sure whether San Diego needed to address their secondary or wide receiving first, but I decided to go the WR route first. So thereya go. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2006 By pm for LaParka: With the 20th pick in the 2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select... Antonio Cromartie, CB, Florida State Strengths: A tremendous natural athlete...Exceptionally fast for a guy of his dimensions...Has outstanding size with long arms...Has great hands and ball skills...Has a knack for coming away with the big play and interception...Has fluid hips and is a pure cover man...Physical and will support the run...A threat to score every time he gets his hands on the ball...Is also a good return man...Proved to be a game changer during his short career with the Noles and came through with a number of impact plays...Has a ton of upside and hasn't even begun to reach his vast potential. Weaknesses: Is coming off of a knee injury...Has only played in 25 total games and has very little starting experience...Very raw and his footwork and technique will need development...Needs to be more consistent...Is not a great tackler...Aggressive and will take too many risks at times...A project who has a high risk factor and his selection will be made mostly based on promise rather than actual production. He's 6'2, runs a 4.41 40, and has a fucking 42 inch vert. I don't care if the guy is a retarded pedophile, that's insane and easily worth a high pick. You can't learn to be that big, strong, and quick, he could potentially take a few jump balls from Randy Moss. Randy Moss! Come on. The Chiefs could use a corner now and maybe one of the other CBs could contribute right away, but you can't ignore a guy like this. FS is up
Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2006 Lendale White, RB, USC Corey Dillon may be done and I don't wanna see the offense go back to how it was when an aging Antwain Smith was looked at to handle the bulk of the carries. Pats get, in my opinion, the best RB of the draft right here.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2006 I am wondering if all of the murmuring about LenDale White's offseason is actually going to drop him (maybe even out of the first round) or if it is just going to turn out to be idle chat. Denver (CandianChris) is on the clock Coming up after Denver: 23 Tampa Bay - Kahran 24 Cincinnati - GertT
Gert T 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2006 I'm guessing with Indy at 30 and Pittsburgh at 32, I just cannot see him dropping out of the first round. I'm sure Indy would rather see Maroney fall to them anyway, but they'll take him if he's there. How do insert a picture, just click on the image feature?
