Lt. Al Giardello Posted April 22, 2006 Author Report Posted April 22, 2006 I cannot believe the Flames only scored two goals and needed overtime to beat a team that had its backup goaltender make an emergency start. If they had just about anyone but Kiprusoff in net, they would've gotten destroyed. Can't wait for Rangers/Devils. The Ducks have very underrated defense. And Bryzgalov played an awesome game. He didn't look like no back up goalie in there.
Guest NYankees Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Devils make the score 3-1 over the Rangers. The Rangers right now are buried 6 feet deep and the devils are just starting to throw the dirt in to kill the Rangers season.
mike546 Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Were fucking owning them on five and five but these fucking refs are ruining this game. A high stick call on Poti?!? HE DIDN'T FUCKING HIT ANYBODY WITH HIS STICK. Fucking fuck fuck bring on the trap GAME OVER.
the max Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Were fucking owning them on five and five but these fucking refs are ruining this game. A high stick call on Poti?!? HE DIDN'T FUCKING HIT ANYBODY WITH HIS STICK. Fucking fuck fuck bring on the trap GAME OVER. He hit Madden in the face with his stick. Watch the replay.

CanadianChris Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Colorado's playing a really solid game right now.

Someone should tell you that the Devils are close to winning their 12th straight game and the way the Rangers played today was exactly the same lackluster play in how they finished their season the past 5-7 games.

Ahhh FUCK that. We've dominated them 5 on five, just need to stop taking stupid penalties.
mike546 Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 And now Jagrs injured. Could this game have possibily gone worse!?!? edit: To me his shoulder looked either dislocated or broken, either way goodnight were dead.
Guest Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I don't like the officiating so far in the playoffs, and I don't like that the players are refusing to conform to the rules. Overtime of Oil/Wings and the Sharks/Preds game are the only ones that have been decently officiated.
skullman80 Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I can't blame the refs for making the calls. The players can't seem to keep their sticks to themselves. Out of the 2 games I have watched, pretty much every call has been legit. The players need to adjust.
Red Baron Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 How is Montreal leading this game so far, especially by three goals. Huet is playing unreal out there.
mike546 Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 Hey Huet, where the HELL was this when I needed you to protect a three goal third period lead on tuesday?!?
CanadianChris Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 I just tuned in and my jaw dropped in shock. 4 goals on 14 shots...not a good start for Gerber at all. He was their biggest question mark going in anyway, and this isn't going to help matters.
Spaceman Spiff Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 The refs in the Sabres/Philly game have been pretty bad. Not calling blatant penalties while calling the weak ones.
Red Baron Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 Oh I know Spiff, my gf mentioned that. There are some weak calls in the Habs game too.
Red Baron Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 Wow, Carolina looks tired in the third period. I was not expecting that at all.
CanadianChris Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 The Hurricanes just look done. They look like they weren't ready for the playoffs at all.
Red Baron Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 I think they just gave up after the second period because they could not beat Huet.
Zetterberg is God Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 Very surprised by Montreal's dominant win. Plenty of people (myself included) predicted the upset victory but no one could have expected what happened in tonight's game.
CanadianChris Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 I can't believe there was no penalty on that. There shouldn't have been one, so it was a great no-call, but that gets called more often than not. This is great action.
Spaceman Spiff Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 Esche w/ 54 saves as we head to double OT.
CanadianChris Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 I say it ends this OT. The goalies can't keep the puck out of the net for 20 more minutes at the pace they're setting.
