claydude14 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 Good, T advances. Hardy needs to retune his gimmick. He hasn't been entertaining since V1, before he was traded to RAW.
Guest treecelightning Report post Posted April 22, 2006 I really enjoyed that match. Lots of back and forth offense. I'm glad Booker T advanced. I'm even happier that they didn't make Hardy out to be a jobber.
RepoMan 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 Pleasantly surprised, wasn't expecting much from that match.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 Anyone else shocked that they are pushing London & Kendrick? I've always said that if they were given more exposure on WWE TV that they could get over huge as a team. The fans are really starting to get on their side, and MNM is the perfect team to pair them up against. When a wrestling company can make me hate seeing William Regal on TV, then I know that they are doing something wrong for sure. I was just about to say say how the actual wrestling on the show has been pretty good tonight, and then I see Dalip Singh (I forget the name they are using) on my TV. Boon 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 RVD needs to go to the Paul London school of heel kicks.
claydude14 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 I thought Regal in the bear suit was priceless. Also I hope they do the unexpected and actually let London and Kendrick take the belts (3 victories over the champs suggests otherwise though). I'd hope they have MNM retain on a Smackdown! and then let London/Kendrick win the gold at Judgement Day.
Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 I think that Paul London-Joey Mercury match was one of the best matches I've seen on WWE TV in some time.
claydude14 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 Ok I'm confused with the this week in history. When Rock threw the IC belt and Austin off the bridge; wouldn't that be the year BEFORE he stole Austin's smoking skull belt? Really doesn't add up having both titles involved. At all. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Maybe I'm wrong though. Rock never threw the Intercontinental title off the bridge. In December 97 Austin threw Rock's IC belt off the bridge, then a year and half later Rock threw him and the Smoking Skull belt off the bridge.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 This stuff with Regal would be a lot better if Burchill mad him dress of as "The Man's Man" version of Regal, complete with the old theme. Now that I'd laugh at.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 The payoff of all of this damn well better be Regal beating the absolute fuck out of Burchill
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 The payoff of all of this damn well better be Regal beating the absolute fuck out of Burchill I dunno... Didn't Regal wanna slow down in the ring and become an agent?
Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 The payoff of all of this damn well better be Regal beating the absolute fuck out of Burchill I dunno... Didn't Regal wanna slow down in the ring and become an agent? If Regal doesn't snap and beat the shit out of the pirate, or if someone doesn't debut to become Regal's new "guy", then what the hell is the point of all of this? I HATE when they do angles like this, and it just ends with no actual resolution. I mean, Regal is being made to look like a fool. Something better happen to make up for all of this, and it better make Regal look great.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 I must be in a bad mood tonight. I'm already on the verge of hating "The Miz" more than just about anyone else in WWE. Or is that the idea? Either way, my saying that is either a really good thing, or a really bad thing I guess.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 It does nothing if Regal doesn't finally start to fight back, finally leading to an intense match on PPV where Burchill THEN goes over. If he just keeps doing this to Regal over and over again, it'll all be in vain. People will get tired of it, they'll start to think Regal is just a twat, and the effect will totally be lost in the end. I'd even be ok if the point as to debut someone new to take up for Regal, leading to Burchill vs. ??? w/Regal as manager. You know how WWE does stuff like this at times and they just "forget" about it, making all of this time totally wasted? That's what I don't want to see. Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 I've done a total 180 on Burchill, with most of the hate coming from his hideous ring outfit and the ugly hair. When he was in the pirate garb and had his hair straightened, he looked the part. Now he's just an average wrestler with a gimmick that's going nowhere in an angle that's probably going to go nowhere. They protected Khali well tonight. As long as they keep this up his first match with Undertaker will probably draw well.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 My God. How can anyone actually still hate JBL? I always thought that he'd one day be at the top of the card and a world champ, but I never saw this much character in him at all.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 Things are looking damn good with Randy Orton gone right now. I guess this is why JBL is getting this spot? JBL - The heel the fans love to hate.
