The OAO RAW Thread 8/5/2006

Recommended Posts

PEOPLE, nothing you have seen on RAW the past few weeks has been a "shoot." Joey Styles' comments weren't a shoot and Rob Van Dam's comments weren't a shoot. Do some of you guys even know what a "shoot" is?

No shit...

If anything, it was a worked shoot.

If it is a worked shoot, then it isn't a shoot. In a shoot interview, nothing is off limits and the guy can say whatever he wants. In a worked shoot, the guy is told what he can't say. Which pretty much makes it a work anyway.

I know, that's why the word "worked" is in it.

That is also why the word "shoot" shouldn't be in it.

So...why hasn't Linda McMahon come in to stop Vince since he's gone back with the girlies?

They alluded awhile ago that Linda basically had to accept Vince for who he is, when they mentioned the family counseling last October. Remember, Linda is a heel now too. Heels encourage adultry. See Benoit, Edge...

Maybe, but since it has the word worked in it, it doesn't bother me that much.

Why does it take a professional actor to accurately sell a choke for the first time in wrestling history :P

Am I to assume that whatever Kane is pissed off about having to do with May 19th happened just last year, considering that he's never had anything against that date before? ;)

How many times have people accentuated the words like they have the past few weeks? If you just say May 19th, you should be fine. Say MAY 19TH...you die!

I hope this whole Kane angle pays-off with a PPV

headlined by Kane vs. Robocop

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't they air a "happy" Kane a couple months ago to promote this movie and the co-stars spoke warmly of him before they started this bullshit?

"Months?" What is this word "months" that you keep mentioning? We, as wrestling fans, aren't expected to be able to recall events prior to last week.
