Just watch a tape of One Night Only last year or any ECW show from '99 to '01. Whatever he says about WWE on those shows will be what he would say whenever he comes back. "F*ck WWE, f*ck Vince McMahon, ECW IS EXTREME!" Won't be too groundbreaking.

Just read on pwinsider.com that RVD will defend the IC title tonight against Masters, Haas, and Shelton in a 4 way. I gotta think that is a good way to get the IC title off of him without having him take a pin.

It should have been a three way instead of Masters being involved. Hopefully Carlito gets involved early and takes Masters out of the match.

At least we can agree that there are some interesting things you can do with the IC division right now, and very little of it needs to involve RVD at this point. Either give it to Masters and he and Carlito can feud over it, or give it to either of Shelton or Haas and they can feud.

 

Hell, losing the title without being pinned gives RVD some ammo. He can then say "Joey Styles was right in what he said...if this were ECW it would have been an elimination style match and there's no way any of those guys could beat me."

PWInsider reports that Tommy Dreamer will have an in-ring role on tonight's WWE RAW.

 

The plan as of earlier this evening was for Dreamer to serve as a third competitor in the previously-advertised Edge vs. Mick Foley match.

 

Dreamer's likely addition to the match only makes the bout more newsworthy—eyes were already set to be on the contest due to talk that Foley will be turning heel soon, possibly as early as tonight.
