That 70's Show

Recommended Posts

The show was pretty much dead about 2-3 seasons ago but the finale closed it up, though predictably on a good enough note.

I have to say, this show lasted longer then many people probably predicted (8 seasons). It also moved around more then any show I can remember. I believe, with the exception of saturdays, 70's show aired on every night and at different time slots. Sometimes even moving multiple times per season.

It was a really good finale.

The montage of Red saying foot up your ass was hilarious.

Much better then Will and Grace, which was horrible.

I'm not going to repeat what you guys have already said, but I think this was generally a really good show that let the characters have some growth but stay the same for the most part. It probably could have ended after season 5 or 6, but even when it wasn't great it was better than anything Fox could have replaced it with. It's one of the few modern comedies I can still watch and laugh at when the repeats are on which is something that likely wouldn't have happened if it had been on one of the major networks simply because it probably would have been cancelled after season 1 or 2 due to the ratings.

This show was completely played out, and even worse now that it's been in syndication. The jokes are entirely too predictable, and well, it was okay. One of those time-wasters if there was nothing else on TV, but rarely anything from the show I'd remember.

Scrubs is infinitely better when you're talking about modern comedies.

I just got into Scrubs on Friday (rented season 1 disc 1) and have now bought the first three seasons.

I finished up through season 2 in three days...

And only have one season left...

Must...

Have...

Scrubs...

HOLY CRAP! Trivia from IMDB:

Chuck Norris was the initial choice for Red Foreman, but was still filming Walker, Texas Ranger, so Kurtwood Smith was cast instead.

I can't see Chuck doing the role. The character would'nt have suited him.

That 70s Show is fine when there's nothing else on. Good harmless fun.

This was the first season that I didn't like, so I was glad they pulled together a good finale.

I hated that fucking Randy, with his lion mane hair.

I missed the show. Somebody please recap?

Red and Kitty decided not to go to Florida, Hyde briefly gave up pot, Randy was on for about 5 minutes total to try to get Donna back, Fez and Jackie got together, Kelso fell off the water tower and still as the BB imbedded in his flesh, Foreman came back at the end for Donna makeouts, ended with the New Years countdown into 1980

Thanks, Ravembomb. I also hated that Randy dude, so I'm glad they brought Eric back and put him together with Donna again. It would've been stupid not to do it. Incidentally, Eric is the only one from the gang that didn't get any with Jackie when it was all said and done. Is she a slut or what?

I thought the finale was well done, however what they could have done is taken an extra five minutes with the theme playing and have everyone in the circle with a little graphic telling what happened to them after the finale, thus giving the entire thing closure.

I like it better that it was left open ended.

There was some closure, but they didn't wrap everything up, which is how a finale should be.

"It's a portable phone!"

Didn't That 80's Show star the dad of Unhappily Ever After?
