razazteca 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Can the Braves send the pitching staff back to the minors?
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Ray gets the save and Atlanta pulls off a crazy win 13-12. 8 homeruns, I think 18 strike outs, 1 ball off someone's head. Reitsma chokes again. And fun stat now Villarreal is 7-0.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Dusty's a genius! Double-switch to bring in a guy who's gone hitless in his last 18 games. Piss-poor fundamentals strike again. But hey, at least the Cubs keep finding new ways to lose games.
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 28, 2006 You know, as a long time Cub's hater it's hard for me to have sympathy for Cubs fans. But after having watched their traveling circus the last three games and seeing what a mess it is I feel bad for you guys.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 You should feel for the fans, but not the organization that has turned the team into a three-ring circus.
Guest Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Even though I really hate the team he plays for, Kendry Morales is going to be a star.
Mik 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 This may be the only subpar year for the Angels. Morales is gonna be a star... so is Kendrick, without question. Wood, probably but he could flame out and Jered Weaver isn't look so bad either. They are set for the future.
Guest Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Wood, probably but he could flame out No, he's not a flameout. Weaver is more likely to be. This guy is the best player I've seen come through the Single A Organization here, which includes a few of the ones you mentioned above. I don't want to make comparisons, so I'll say that this guy's power is just fucking ridiculous. I've never seen a guy that could crush the ball at that level like that. Sean Burroughs was pretty good too.
devo 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2006 Pretty sure this hasn't been posted yet... http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/new...t=.jsp&c_id=nym This is truly a day for celebration. What would make it perfect is if Keppinger were called up and given a shot at the job.
Guest Report post Posted May 29, 2006 That's a really good thing. Who's going to start there? All these stud pitchers being called up makes me start to wonder when Billingsley's going to get the call. Kemp got the call today and didn't look great.
devo 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2006 Reading the story, it appears as though Jose Valentin and Chris Woodward will split time at second, with Kaz still getting a start every once in a while. Either would be an improvement over Matsui, so I'm fine with either starting until they figure out a long-term solution.
