Guest Smues Report post Posted May 28, 2006 To the 10th we go. That was incredibly painful to watch. We're losing this game, once Neifi hit a 2 run triple our fate was sealed.
Boon 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Just bring up the kids already Theo, PLEASE. Testify!
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Braves fans need to relax. The Cubs have a habit of making things interesting, but ultimately falling short. Watch for a homer in the top of the 10th.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Look for Atlanta to get at least 1 run here on their 9th HR of the game.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Not only is Joe Mauer fast becoming the best catcher in baseball, according to a fishwrap hack. He's dating the former Miss USA on semi-regular basis.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Well the Twins win in the 10th inning, after a leadoff home run by Lew Ford. The Twins swept the Mariners and now head off to play the Angels and the Atheltics.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 With Walker, Ramirez and Jones due, look for three guys trying to end it with one swing.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Just so you know, ESPN's Bottom Line now has a Chasing Aaron graphic. Â Bonds. Will. Not. Die.
Guest Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Times like this are times that I'm glad I don't watch the channel. Â Honestly though, it is history whether you guys like it or not or whether he was clean for many of those HR's or not. He is chasing Aaron. It is reality. Get in touch. Â They can't just fucking ignore it when baseball's soon to be the only one of the big 4 in season.

mike546 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Maybe I haven't been watching SC enough but to me the Bonds stuff has died down a lot latley. But maybe I'm wrong.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 I wish Bonds would would get hurt while running the bases after a home run and have to retire.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Cubs are only winning this if they get a walk-off and since we don't have any power due for another five or six spots, the Braves may snag this one.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Times like this are times that I'm glad I don't watch the channel. Honestly though, it is history whether you guys like it or not or whether he was clean for many of those HR's or not. He is chasing Aaron. It is reality. Get in touch.  I don't know about you, but I don't think being 40 HRs away classifies as a "chase" right now. No one is technically "chasing" their 500th HR when they're at 460. I get that it's historic, but I really don't need to see cutaways for every at bat he makes until he retires unless he's at at least 745.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Just so you know, ESPN's Bottom Line now has a Chasing Aaron graphic. Bonds. Will. Not. Die. They actually have had that since he hit 714.
Guest Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Nobody has been this close to Aaron's mark, ever. This is a unique situation.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 For anyone keeping score at home, Cubs now have four guys in the game who can play second base. That's ugly when you consider they're not gonna win this unless they slam one out.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Whoa, Mulder got rocked. Eight runs in 4.1 innings.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 For those keeping score, Josh Bard's hitting .415 in May with 5 HR and 14 RBI for the Padres. Â Why can't the Sox get guys like that? Â Ramirez Cansecoed the ball!
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 I knew that was gonna happen. Anytime Ramirez has time to think of a play, bad things happen. This is indeed, Major League.
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 28, 2006 An easy popup turns into Langerhans on 2nd. Huh? And the replay shows it bounces right of his head. How nice.
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Damn 2 outs and the Cubs might escape this inning with nothing more than a bruised head.
Guest Report post Posted May 28, 2006 I don't know how any Cubs fan can watch them, unless they're just waiting for the good part of their history to finally come. They've waited far too long.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Good thing we put Hairston out there.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Damn 2 outs and the Cubs might escape this inning with nothing more than a bruised head. It's not their way to give up the key hit with less than two outs.
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Giles drives in the go ahead run. Nice job by Hairston trying to sell it like he caught it but no go. I'd think that Ray pitches the bottom half of the inning.
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 28, 2006 TBS cut from the game to start a movie, but thankfully came back.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 It's up to Perez, Bynum, and Pierre. I don't care what happened in the ninth, this is no good.
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 28, 2006 Then again when they cut to start the movie it said "Edited for content" so maybe they just thought bouncing pop outs off your head was too offensive for the audience.
