Boon Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_picture...rider/high.html This looks absolutely horrible.
Anakin Flair Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Hope those are early effects. I saw moving skeletons looking more real in Army of Darkness.
Guest El Satanico Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 The ghost rider parts looked good, but it didn't really show enough of anything. The crash landing on the stunt jump looked pretty bad, it looked like a model.
Maztinho Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 It looks like they'll be touching them up. *figners crossed* I don't know if I buy Nick Cage as a chain swinging Ghost Rider. Then again, I can't think of a better actor, so what the hell do I know?
devo Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Yeah, that's pretty bad. Still, they have nine months to go before it's released. I'm sure it won't like as laughable by that point.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I thought it looked pretty cool personally. I'd like to see this.
2GOLD Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I thought it looked pretty cool personally. I'd like to see this. Yeah, I thought it was extremely well done.
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Everything looked cool until the final shot of the flaming skull.
ragingfear79 Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 yeah i agree with Vitamin, to me it looked just fine, they have time to fix if needed.
reign Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I agree with the positivity...this movie looks great...Cage can bring the good acting and the effects look cool...who was the guy on the horse...I really have yet to be dissapointed with any Marvel movies with the exception of Elekta and the Hulk...
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I thought it looked pretty cool.
pochorenella Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Still, they have nine months to go before it's released. Is there an official release date for the movie? I know it's been moved a couple of times already, but I could've sworn it was gonna be released this year. Now we have to wait until 2007? EDIT: Nevermind, the official release date is February 16, 2007.
Lil' Bitch Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I talked to RVD following this past monday's show about this and he told me he was actually supposed to have a small part in this movie where he played a hired goon that gets killed by Ghost Rider when he's hit by a fireball and turns into ashes, but unfortunately miscommunication and scheduling problems prevented him from being able to get it. He's really psyched for the film since Ghost Rider is his favorite Marvel Super Hero. I'm looking forward to it myself, Ghost Rider is badass.
Brett Favre Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Some parts look good, some parts look bad.
FroGG_NeaL Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 My favorite parts were when he was riding up the buildings, and using his chain, and when he was riding beside the dude on the horse. That dude was badass. I can't wait to see Mephisto, if he's even in it. He better be, considering that's who created the mofo in the first place.
Lil' Bitch Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 ^ According to IMDB.com, he's supposed to be in it. The same with Blackheart.
FroGG_NeaL Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 Ugh. Blackheart looked ill as fuck, but dude was lame. Then again, Ghost Rider didn't have too many really good Villians. Zodiac was cool as fuck, and once he took his mask off, he had eye balls all over his face. But those are both the second Rider, Dan Ketch's villians. This film is the Johnny Blaze version, he fought those dudes, but along with GR V2, as a normal human with a badass shotgun that shot hellfire. It's in the movie trailer, I marked for it.
