Ahem-hem we did infact write the 6 man tag-team match (*raises hand* yes I am the dork who forgot to edit out a line from the break down too in case you're wondering

I've just scanned it quickly, looks like a great read and I look forward to reading it all when I get the time.

I made up a map for the School House match, it's at the top of the post that the match is in. I put it in a link because it was stretching out the page.

The main event was 77 kinds of cool - no wait 78 kinds. I'm thinking that puts the rivalry to bed though, where with Alfdog look next? I dunno but it'll be interesting to find out 8)

And the OAOAST could teach the WWE SOOOOOOOOOO much about tag-team wrestling *applause*

Feedback~!

-Nice kickoff with the HI-YAH Tag Team Title match. Purple denim? Jeez, I remember my purple jeans...in 1992. Silk shirts too.

Where was I?

Oh yeah.

Nice opener, as in real life this'd be the kind of match you'd want to kick off a PPV. Love how the NNMX aren't the NNMX anymore, yet Ned's still the sleaziest son of a bitch around. Good near falls written towards the end, and now looks like Ned has another victim to his credit. Will big brother stick up for lil' sis? TUNE INTO NITR...er, HeldDOWN~! to find out!

-Entertaining use of Mister Warrior in the Sunday Detention match. Admittedly the match went by pretty quick, which I suppose is good for a reader. It was well done, it just left me wanting some more.

-Good little tag title match, which served to get Brains and Brawn over as more than just a throwaway team. Good effort involved in the writing to make them look like a threat before going down to the Rockers.

-Looks like Sly channeled The Great Khali and Daivari with the appearance of Gibraltar, which is quite the coincidence as when I was typing up Zack's history in the new chat thread, remembered the big man aiding my Thrillogy at one time. Two years ago to be exact! Time has flown...think about it...we're nearing FIVE YEARS of the OAOAST. Match-wise, I envisioned your typical Impact X-Division match here, which is not a bad thing at all.

-Brief promo from Otaku, but even the little things can be used to build up something big. I think MMOM is capable of some very good writing, it's just the other things that interfere. When he gets the chance, he'll please us all I'm sure.

-I won't say too too much about the Six Man, as I had much of a hand in the story development. I will say that I was incredibly pleased with Bruce and Rando's effort (I wrote nothing for the six man, instead allowing them to focus their abilities, and allowing me to get the HI-YAH Title match done). Bruce asked if he could take liberties with the ending and I agreed, as The Wildcards wave of brutality continues in a big way...whether the OAOAST likes it or not.

-I'll say nothing about my own match, but this: I should have gotten the "new" stats up for Blonde and Faqu, because poor Papacita only had the old ones to work with. At any rate, I've really tried to make this angle more than just a "Zack vs. secondary characters" feud as some can come across...I had an interest in fleshing out Blonde and Faqu and I hope this match did that, as I worked hard to go for a strong-style/ROHish type of classic. Believe me though, the story didn't end here, folks.

-Exciting main event from Alf and PK. Admittedly, I expected more spottasticness, but in the end, less is more. I remember a few months back when PK recommended the idea for this match as a way for he and I to feud, but he had a chance to use it here and help get Alf's reign over. The buyrate for this might break Alf out of his lowest drawing OAOAST Champion funk!

Well, PK isn't exactly the type of guy to go flying off ladders with moonsaults is he? :P I did have the idea of PK doing a hilo onto Alf while he's laying on a ladder on the floor, but alas...

Actually, I purposely kept it from being spotty because I wanted the story of the match to be more "These are two enclosed animals that want to kill each other" instead of the atypical TLC-type match. In retrospect, I definitely could/should have added a little more spots to illustrate that (this is the SECOND Alf/PK match where I wanted to utilize Alf's corner post figure-four but it never materialized).

I've read just the opening tag (more 100% Grade A Tony tag goodness) and the Sunday Detention match (short, but it gave some of the lesser guys some exposure. Team Heyross really needs to be in the tag picture more), so I'll read the rest tonight/tomorrow night.

Cool opening. One of best we've done, IMO.

So that's why we haven't seen or heard from the Untouchables since Syndicated. Thumbs up for the explaination.

Helluva match to start the show. New written entrance for D*LUX I can cut and paste when needed! :) Jade's promo is something you don't see a lot of nowadays, in that it leads directly into the match. Very old school. Great shit, KC.

The Sunday Detention match was a blast to read. Leave it to Alf to come up with something new and innovative. The entrances of Brock and Mr. Warrior were hilarious.

The Triple Threat match was fun while it lasted. I'm still amazed at all the moves PFL knows. The Great Khali's debut has been the only thing I've enjoyed about him thus far, so no beef with Gibraltar coming in and taking care of business.

The last two Otaku promos, going back to the last one MMoM wrote IIRC before taking time off, have been some of his best. Short, sweet, to the point.

The remaining portion of the show reminds me of the Great American Bash 1989 PPV, where everything after the Tuxedo match just rocks. Except our entire PPV has rocked!

The 6-Man tag title match was pretty freakin' awesome, with all 6 men picking up right where they left off at the time of the original no contest.

Zack deserves a lot of credit for making something out of Blonde and Faqu. Never thought I'd see it after they just faded away. Don't know if that's a Kerry Von Erich reference, but I've always dugged the "Modern Day Warrior" moniker. As for the match, home run. I'm just waiting for the Wildcards to snap on Zack. An explosion between them is inventible. It's being built so perfectly.

For some reason I thought Leon hadn't wrestled on PPV for months. I guess it's because when I think of Leon Rodez I think Love Shack and not wrestler/ex-adult film star. But he had his working boots on at SO, taking everything Gunner had and dishing it back at him. The commentary was fun to read as well.

I have my copy of OAOAST: Jobber to the Stars on pre-order!

For a match that didn't rely on an assortment of highspots as one would think in a match like SWTH, I was pleasantly surprised to see how good it was. Gimmick matches can turn into huge clusterfucks just like that, but PK pulled it off. I would go as far as to call it the best match he's ever written.

MOTN: It came down between the HI-YAH tag title match and the ME, but I give the edge to the ME.

LOTN: "IRAN NUMBAH VUN!" -- Leon Rodez, while placed in a Camel Clutch

That was the first legitimate, non-24/7 goofery match Leon's had in months. The last was probably PRL at AngleMania, which is a pretty terrible record.

Actual comments later when I read the thing, but yay for Bruce and Rando for writing the 6 man. Now write for HD. Seriously. Do it.

Yes sir! *snaps to salute* B-)

Note who put something in the booking for HD and rejoice. . . or dread I'm not sure which it'll be ;)

All my matches always come out a lot shorter than they seem. I swear I timed my match out to 20:00, but it ends up being one of if not the shortest match on the card. I usually take hours to type up a match, and it still usually ends up being one of the shortest ones. It's frustrating.

It's just a case of writing style. Realistically the HL Match would have been in the 20:00 range of action, it's just that somebody like me tends to naturally pad out the action more with description than you or Tony or EWC, making my matches look longer than they really are. Leon/Gunner would probably have been 7 minutes max of actual action.
