Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2006 Oh, so it's dumb stereotypes that prevent it from being discussed. Kay. I guess I should start slingin' drugs and murkin' suckas if I want to listen to and/or enjoy rap.
FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2006 Seriously, though. Techno music freaks me out when I'm smokin' weed. When I'm poppin' X or acid, sometimes snortin' coke, it's excellent.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted August 7, 2006 There's a whole genre of metal devoted to this activity. Incandenza and Lovecraft named some good mentions. I'll add these:

Shit freaks me out. I know And imagine driving with that playing and the bass allowing you to "feel" the tremors. I was almost in tears when my buddy popped that in one night on our way to a club. I also like Andre 3000's Love Below CD with "Prototype" as an honorable mention.

FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2006 Wu-Tang has some great shit to listen to when you're smokin'. I gotta mention Lil Wyte's "Smokin' Song" as well. It ain't very long, but it gets the job done.
cd213 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2006 I haven't smoked since 1999, but I would say if I started up again I would have to listen to the Kings of the toke, The Kottonmouth Kings. These guys were made for smoking!
Guest DRH 502 Report post Posted August 9, 2006 Definately. I just mark out everytime I hear Gravel Pit, C.R.E.A.M., or Triumph when i'm high. "Run" by Ghostface Killah featuring Jadakiss is good stuff too. Big L "Ebonics" is good listening. First verse: My weed smoke is my lye, A key of coke is pie, when i'm lifted i'm high, with new clothes on i'm fly. Also the Nas/AZ song. Life's A Bitch. Fuck there are way too many songs to pick just one. I love rap. I like alot of MURS here lately, particularly "Risky Buisness" "Freak These Tales" "Happy Pillz" "L.A." among a gang of other stuff. Also lots of Proof from the Searching For Jerry Garcia album.
Guest DRH 502 Report post Posted August 9, 2006 I used to like Kottonmouth Kings. They were great with Saint, the first 2 albums with Richtor were alright but alot of the shit off Rolling Stoned was just crazy weird and I haven't listened to much since. But yeah the Kottonmouth Kings song "So High" in particular (The original version with Saint) is fucking tremendous to listen to. Just a kick ass song from their best period IMO. "Life Rolls On" was tight from what I remember along with "Kings Blend"...yeah the more I think about it KMK kicked ass I haven't listened to them since high school though... cd213 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2006 I love KMK. I tend to listen to them just becasue I like the music. I like the fact that they are so big, yet are independent at the same time. I have all their albums and can't get enough of them. Of course they have songs that I am not a fan of, but I like mostly all of them.
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2006 Dub makes for some great stoner music. Try King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry, Keith Hudson, and Augustus Pablo for some great stuff.
