Astro101 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 X match was good, a bit slower I thought than previous spotfests TNA puts up for ppvs. But it was still good and the double stomp rules. Kevin Nash wins against Sabin. Sabin didn't look weak, imo. He got Kevin up ready for the Cradle Shock and Shelley interfered to allow the jacknife powerbomb to be hit.
razazteca Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Alex Shelly is God. Would you ever spell God's name wrong? Men shouldn't have girly names why could'nt he go with something simple like Smith or Johnson or go the 3 first name route like Alex Joe Frank. If his name was Alex Seymour Johnson Smith, Vince McMahon would've already signed him. A.S.S. would make a great Cruiserweight Champion.
Fro Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Yea, Nash made Sabin look like a million bucks and it took Shelley cheating probably 7-8 times for Nash to win.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 I know it's probably an impossibility, but I'd LOVE for AJ and Daniels to bring Molly Holly as the neutralizer for Gail Kim.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Sabin had Nash up for the cradle shock? That would be like Samoa Joe having Scott Steiner set up for the musclebuster.
Jebus Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 What I posted on TNA's board since some were overreacting..."the X-Division is dead!!!": "Nash won...WITH HELP PEOPLE!!! He needed help to beat Sabin!!! Please don't start overreacting. Putting people over doesn't just mean taking a pinfall. Hurricane pinned The Rock once. Sabin got cheated...he'll be back for revenge and thank the lord the feud continues!!!" Only a couple of overreactions though...the result got mostly well received. Just like I'd have booked it, honestly...just cause I didn't want the feud to end so quickly...I'm loving it.
2GOLD Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Yea, Nash made Sabin look like a million bucks and it took Shelley cheating probably 7-8 times for Nash to win. That's what I wanted to happen but I'm shocked as hell it actually happened. Early signs indicate maybe Nash is serious about putting the division over. I'm sure he'll change his mind soon though.
2GOLD Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Who the hell WAS that? See, comments like this are why I'm pissed I couldn't afford the PPV this weekend. Stupid big Fourth of July celebration eating all my funds.
Astro101 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Great tag match. AJ and Daniels win! And I will repeat the question...who the hell WAS that neutralizer?
ChrisMWaters Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Jim Cornette is the Public Management face. No Tennis Racket though.
Astro101 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Never seen a Cornette promo before. I believe the hype.
Guest stringerbell Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Who the hell WAS that? PWInsider says it was "Jamie D" who won the Gut-check Challenge and was trained by D'Amore.
Astro101 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Joe-Steiner...it was actually entertaining. Abrupt ending though...snap powerslam for the win. A Kojima Clutch to Steiner passing out would've been better.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Did Scott Steiner look better than he did back in '03? Or was the match completely carried by Samoa Joe?
Fro Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Did Scott Steiner look better than he did back in '03? Or was the match completely carried by Samoa Joe? Steiner has looked better than 2003 in his TNA run, but a lot of it was Joe and the fact that they worked real stiff with each other. Joe's style fits Steiner a lot better than the WWE style does.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Who the hell WAS that? PWInsider says it was "Jamie D" who won the Gut-check Challenge and was trained by D'Amore. Why couldn't it have been Christy Hemme? You have two great wrestlers, if you add one of the hottest women in the business to the mix, you have the perfect tag team.

I'd have rather it had been the former Molly Holly. There's HISTORY there!
Adam Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 CMW, are you sure it wasn't anything to do with your intense love of Molly?
ChrisMWaters Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 CMW, are you sure it wasn't anything to do with your intense love of Molly? Well, the intense love was what made me think of it.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Just checking... Does the first person to be pinned usually win the KotM match? If so, Jarrett's winning.
Jebus Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Just checking... Does the first person to be pinned usually win the KotM match? If so, Jarrett's winning. So far, yeah I think the first guy pinned ended up winning. Just a coincidence...or is it? LET'S HOPE SO!
ChrisMWaters Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Sting/Abyss should be a one on one match in the near future. Just a thought that I had seeing those two brawl each other.
Jebus Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 When Sting was returning at the beginning of the year he said he was looking forward to a series of matches with Abyss above everything else. Can't wait for it to happen.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 What the hell was Christian doing with Jarrett and the ladder? Sting is so going over, turning Christian heel.
