Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 I turned the baseball game, what happened with Patrick and Stern? Just some "good natured" ribbing between the two. Patrick has been a bit critical of some of the draftees and Stern came out to the podium and made mention of it.
Damaramu Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 I like Stern's laughing and "ok" after discussing all the trades. So the Hornets get some size. I may have to go to some games next season. I didn't go to any this season.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 I turned the baseball game, what happened with Patrick and Stern? Patrick thought Stern was about to announce a pick, but he was late walking to the podium. Patrick said "the commissioner is playing a little peek-a-boo with us." Stern walked out and said "I was just listening to your comments and I really wish you would say atleast one thing nice about our foreign players." Patrick responded that he always liked Paul Tagliabue better than David Stern anyway.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 I don't think anyone in Chicago was waiting for that Swiss player pick.
therealworldschampion Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Nice pick, good complement to Iguodala.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Poor Marcus Williams, just proves that character is much more of an issue than most analysts think.
therealworldschampion Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 If Isiah doesn't take Marcus Williams, then he is truly a moron. I think Lowry ends up going to the Nets.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Who would've thought, Douby over Marcus Williams.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 I want to see the Knicks take a foreign player!
Ripper Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 One Knicks pick away from the suns getting one HELL of a backup point guard in Williams.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Where's Ashton Kutcher? This must be an episode of Punk'd.
UZI Suicide Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 LMAO. Ok, is there any chance that the Knicks made that pick for the sole reason of fucking with their fans?
therealworldschampion Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Marcus Williams = Jameer Nelson v2.0 And damn, Jay Bilas, that was harsh; "Renaldo Balkman is a second-round talent." SNAP!
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 LMAO. Ok, is there any chance that the Knicks made that pick for the sole reason of fucking with their fans? It HAS to be. That made my day.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 LMAO. Ok, is there any chance that the Knicks made that pick for the sole reason of fucking with their fans? Oh c'mon the Knicks need an undersized swingman don't they? I don't think they have any of those. Well, maybe 1. And by 1 I mean 5.
teke184 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Did you hear the cheer that went up when the commentator says "If he's not Dennis Rodman crossed with Ron Artest, Isiah Thomas's career is over!"?
UZI Suicide Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Memo to Mitch Kupchak - GET OFF YOUR ASS AND TRADE UP FOR MARCUS WILLIAMS!
therealworldschampion Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Cheech Tremendous Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Maybe he thought they were getting Mars Blackman.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 NBA trades are so damn confusing. Can't we just keep it to players and picks?
Cheech Tremendous Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Do you think Isiah just said "fuck it, I'm not going to be here anyways."
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 An Aaron Rodgers-like wait for Marcus Williams.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 An Aaron Rodgers-like wait for Marcus Williams. We're getting close to Rashard Lewis territory now. Maybe NJ takes him as Kidd's backup?
therealworldschampion Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 You know, I really wanna listen to WFAN tomorrow to hear the bitching Knicks fans
The Robfather Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 This has been a very entertaining draft between the confusing trades and the NY fans.
