Rage in a cage.

The Blue Ridge Mountains better prepare for some rage in the cage when Friday Night Smackdown rolls into Roanoke, Va.

Since colliding in the King of the Ring tournament last month, Bobby Lashley and King Booker have been at each other's throats. Over the past six weeks they have clashed four times, with each man winning twice. Last week, it was Booker who was victorious by disqualification when Lashley was forced to use a chair to fend off a 3-on-1 attack.

Every time Lashley and Booker have met, the King's Court (Queen Sharmell, William Regal & Fit Finlay) have gotten involved in some way. In Roanoke, however, that won't be a problem, as General Manager Theodore Long has ordered that the United States champion and the King hook it up inside a Steel Cage. With the unforgiving steel keeping Booker's backup at bay, will Lashley finally vanquish his royal pain once and for all?

Also last week, The Great Khali continued to destroy everything in his path by wiping out both Tatanka and Simon Dean. He went on to cross Dean's arms over his chest and mock Undertaker's signature taunt, surely infuriated the missing Deadman. Will Khali claim more victims tonight?

Plus, Gregory Helms will defend the Cruiserweight championship against Super Crazy. Crazy has been having issues with partner Psicosis in recent weeks, and the two even came to blows after a loss last Friday night. Will Crazy be 100 percent focused on the task at hand? And if not, can Helms exploit that to his advantage and walk out of Roanoke with the gold still around his waist?

Find out all this and more tonight at 8pm/7pm CT on UPN.

Tonight's Smackdown line-up:

Cruiserweight Title Match: Gregory Helms .VS. Super Crazy.

Kid Kash & Jamie Noble .VS. Prince Malik & Marty Garner.

Matt Hardy .VS. Fit Finlay.

Gunner Scott .VS. Mr. Kennedy.

Vito .VS. Simon Dean.

United States Title, Steel Cage Match: Bobby Lashley .VS. King Booker.

The June 30th edition of Friday Night Smackdown will be preempted in the following areas. Below are times you can watch Smackdown:

Philadelphia: Saturday, July 1st, 8pm.

Washington D.C.: Saturday, July 1st, 8pm.

Sacramento: Friday, June 30th, 10pm.

Grand Rapids: Saturday, July 1st, 8pm.

Roanoke: Friday, June 30th, 9pm.

Lansing: Friday, June 30th, 10pm.

Chico: Saturday, July 1st, 8pm.

Eureka: Saturday, July 1st, 8pm.

I hope Helms/Crazy is better than their slow-paced Judgement Day match.

Wow, no mention of our World Champ at all. but sence hes not really doing anything, like feuding with anybody. I'am not surprised. I keep forgetting who the real Champion is, Rey or Lashley.

Looking foward to this show though, The Lashley/Booker Cage match could actually be much better than people are expecting it to be and I've been looking foward to this match ever sence it was announced.

Helms, Pitbulls, Finlay, Kennedy, Vito, and Booker would go over if the Writing Team has any intelligence.

I'm supremely confident that the first 5 will go over, as they're all facing jobbers or lower midcard acts. But if you go heel, heel, heel, heel, heel, and then heel, that'd be kinda weird.

Any cards in which a heel won every match? (at least 6 bouts)

Not that this card looks good at all, but with what they have, that should happen. EVIL SMACKDOWN!

I'm pissed that I didn't read the spoilers, I waited, and just saw that it's pre-empted in Philly.

Gregory Helms is awesome.

I'm surprised he's the longest reigning cruiserweight champ ever though. (is that true?) Doesn't seem like he's had it that long. But it's a good thing though.

And not a bad match. I liked that second tiltawhirl Crazy did, where it looked like he stalled.

According to wikipedia he's held it 152 days, behind Tajiri's 162.

Sweet, old school promo in picture!

Oh come on, the pitbulls? really original wwe. but on the bright side, at leas its a real tag team with matching tights and a team name to boot. and one of the jobbers they beat was Marty Garner, also known for taking the best pedigree ever on the top of his head back in the day (someone here used to have it in their sig I think). though now he may be known for having horrible wrestling pants.

"the diffreence is these guys weren't hot dog vendors at Yankee Stadium" JBL is cracking me up tonight.

HE'S the one who took the impromptu Tiger Driver(?)? Dude's changed a bit. IIRC, he had a flat top/crewcut back then. Now he's rocking the Shawn Michaels bald spot and ponytail combo.

yeah Im pretty damn sure, since I remember seeing him on montel back in like 97 and they showed that clip.. He used to be known as "Cham Pain" in the indies. he even sent in a video for tough enough once.

back to the show, why is Kristal so mad at Ash, she got to be the token black chick in the diva search (and this year again they have only one black girl, and they say wwe isnt racist?)

Lashley shouldnt talk. His voice is even more lame than Brocks used to be. It doesn't fit his look

"Its the little bastard!" I know cole I can here YOU talking

"Its the leprechaun, Im gonna be me one"- JBL

Any reason why Kennedy hasn't been doing the second rope rolling Samoan drop since returning?

Dont think there's an 'official reason' but he's done it as a regular move since returning. As in not off the top rope.

But just something I've noticed, when he did do it, every 2/3 times he did it, it seems he came up with a busted lip/bit toungue or something. His mouth was always bloodied. That might have something to do with it.

I think the Kenton bomb used to be his finisher in the indies. He probably didn't use it for a while, because it reminded people of Jeff Hardy... and we don't need that.

why are heels only smart enough to run from Kahli? I mena the guy takes 8 months to get to the ring

Kahli busts out the bodybag, which is a reference to when Taker used to do it back in his original heel run (and then he would jump onto to it)

so will this match be some kind of cage match?

UPN here is my9 and it often preempts on friday night for yankee games, so I have to see sd on sats at 8, cep tfor this week. this will be a problem next week, cuz if theres a game on 9 on friday, that means sd will be on at the same time as SNME, and since I dont have a vcr right now, Ill have to miss one of them, sd likely.

Im surprised they didnt bleep out "dicks" like they did "cocks" but..whatever.

Yea, because "technically" he was just talking about men named Dick. So it makes sense.

Roosters/Chickens can be called cocks and there was one on the screen and they still bleeped it.

Vito goes dress shopping. I sorta feel bad for him. Its probably bad enough to be on TV in front of like 4 million people in a dress, but to go around in public like that is something else.
