I hate most Latino rap. I'll go with Cypress Hill, they're the best by a lot.

Big Pun...his delivery was flawless and the dude had very complex rhyme schemes. Doesn't get near enough credit for what little bit of work he put out before his death. Any rapper that big with the lung capacity to spit that Kool G. Rap style is amazing... no other Latino rapper I have heard touches him.

:( It makes me cry that you would place IT over Big Pun...

Really Big Pun, B Real, Immortal Technique, Immortal Technique,Armagedden, SPM sometimes, Fat Joe when he has a good ghost writer...

Unless you wanna include underground dudes, that's pretty much it for mainstream rappers.

I really don't think Fat Joe had a ghostwriter.

Just think, DITC was full of sick lyricist, why would they let a guy with a ghostwriter in their clique? Shit don't add up.

Cuban Linx is just bitter.

Joe was more of a behind the scenes guy, who happened to rap.

Joe has crazy connections, don't let 50 Cent fool ya.

I'm sure at some point he's wrote some ill lyrics, but damn near every main stream artist uses a ghost writer at least sometimes.

Joe's like Puff, except he don't produce, so he started rhyming.

He is ill, but it's well known that Pun used to write for dude.

Same as Big did with Puff, see.

It isn't well known, it is just speculated. Fat Joe started rapping before Big Pun came into the game, and was spittin hot shit.

Infact it was Fat Joe that got Big Pun into rapping. People just think Pun wrote Joe's shit because he was able to go lyric for lyric with Pun, most notably Twinz (Deep Cover 98). I still find it hard to believe that the DITC, which was filled with the top underground rappers in NYC, would let a rapper who needs a ghostwriter in their crew. Listen to his 1st album Represent, that was even before Pun came into the game, that was Joe at his best IMO.

Complete and utter bullshit.

Aren't Necro and Ill Bill a pair of Latinos? I may be entirely wrong, but I always thought they were Puerto Rican or Cuban or something. If so, there's my vote.

And I'm also gonna show some love for Immortal Technique. OBNOXIOUS, NIGGA...

You mean the Necro who sung that song "I NEED DRUGS..."???

"when I come home from work i'm fiendin for an eightball,

I got crack on my mind i'm hearin cocaine call,

tellin me to beep the dealer to deliver me stuff,

keep it a secret from my wife cause she thinks I don't use drugs,

and there I was, bleedin from my nose and damn

i couldn't breathe but i'm still thinkin about that next gram,

its Friday night, i'm not tryin to leave my crib dooped

I kill myself, while my dealers eatin Japanese food

I don't got no probs I don't got no friends,

I'm lyin to myself, i'm tellin the runner i'm tryin to quit,

its all make believe, i'll pretend that i'm true,

and if you give me credit, i'll dodge you every chance that I get too,

Even if its good, i'll sniff it up in a minute

beep you back and complain that you put too much cut in it,

if you fall for that, and bring me a new sack,

i'll be makin more crazy faces than jim carrey on crack,

cause yo i'm ripped, I owe you loot,

plus I annoy you, I deserve to be murdered but the coke is doin it for you,

I got nerves, could you put those pills on my bill?

you I tell you we're friends and man we don't even chill,

I NEED DRUGS...."

Cause if so yeah that dude fucking rules. Did he have a song called "Car Full of White Boys" or something similar? I remember that song kicking ass for some reason...

Necro and his brother, Ill Bill, are essentially the Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation of the rap genre. Violent, hate-filled lyrics, some brutal beats (IIRC, Necro often has members of classic death and thrash bands appear on his albums), and just an overall morbid tone to everything. Makes it pretty funny when you listen to them on their own, and then realize Ill Bill did a song with SoCal goofball MC Lars that's, essentially, the two of them having an awkward first conversation about their favorite rappers, metal bands, and political standpoints.
