CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2006 Today was a very bad loss for the Blue Jays. BJ gave up a 3 run shot with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth against the A's. The horrible thing was, they scored three in the top of the ninth to take a 5-3 lead. Barring an incredibly unlikely sweep of the Yankees at the Stadium this week, I think I can safely say that's it for the Jays as contenders. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I read that the batter before Bradley worked a walk on 12 pitches. Schilling is getting bent over and Raped tonight by the Angels. 3 homeruns so far this inning to make it a 6-1 game. The raw numbers look impressive, but Lancaster is a hitters' park in a hitters' league. I'm a little cautious until he hits AA. I think he's for real though.
