It's gotten worse, as bumbershoot's popularity has shot up. I don't even try anymore.

They're something of a 'punk' band...they've been to the local tiny concert venue here several times over the last couple years. They seem to be gaining in popularity. A couple examples of other once-small bands that kept playing this local venue on their way up (and were heavily hyped by it's owner/promoter) - Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance.

I don't personally reccomend Kane Hodder.

Anyone here been to this before? How dificult is it to get the mainsatge show passes?

Last time I went, bout two years ago, the Pixies were playing.

Obviously, they're a very popular group in Seattle, and they had just reformed for touring, but it was INSANE.

Passes were gone within 30 minutes, I heard.

When we left, the line was wrapping ALL around The Seattle Center (which is huge, it's a big complex, not an arena) and starting to go out into the street, an hour before the show started.

EDIT: Not like they have great a line-up. Blondie and the Blue Scholars are the only groups I'd like to see.

Yellow card? :barf:

I've never had a problem getting main stage passes myself, but on the days where I really give a damn I'm normally there within the first hour to do so.

That being said, this year's lineup is weak. I'm interested in seeing Kanye, Blue Scholars, Common Market, A Tribe Called Quest, and Mon Frere and that's about it. I'm probably just going to go on Sunday, which would make it the first time I've only gone on one day in years.
