Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Report post Posted October 29, 2005 John Cena, (on WWE.com) said he doesn't believe in a dress code for the WWE. That's nice of him, seeing as he's one of the few who are exempt from the dress code.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 Is there any particular reason why they're using Josh Matthews as an announcer, rather than a wrestler, like they originally trained him for? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> World's greatest plumber...carpenter...yadda yadda... haVoc 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 Last night on "Best Week Ever" on VH1, before going to commercial they showed a clip of Vince over JR's ass and said something along the lines of "crazy, creepy Vince McMahon something something.." I turned the channel so I didn't get to see if they covered/made fun of it or not. The show should be replayed all weekend.
cameron chaos 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 http://media.putfile.com/Triple-H-Sonnin Triple H promo, on a house show earlier this year, including gay bashing and racism. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Benoit just seems to be ashamed there, shaking his head the entire time and pacing around. However if the son in law of the head of the company can get away with xenophobia, racism, and mocking people for their dialects it's no surprise Vince took a shine to JBL and gave him a run with the belt. I found the "Hot Rod" line funny, the rest I thought was pretty crass.

haVoc 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Has there been any reports why Shane McMahon has yet to be part of the McMahon storyline when he was teased for a week or two? I've just figured he still doesn't want to be on TV.
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Has there been any reports why Shane McMahon has yet to be part of the McMahon storyline when he was teased for a week or two? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They had to change things when Mike Goldberg turned them down. And if Mike Goldberg had come in, they were going to have him change his last name.

With Mike Goldberg not coming in, they, it seems, have decided to bring back JR to Raw. That meant changing plans, because JR coming back to Raw was not what they intended. And WWE were going to change Mike Goldberg's last name when they brought him in. They don't like that Goldberg name.
cameron chaos 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 I think the whole promo was pretty funny and y'all need to lighten the fuck up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you find humour in someone mocking other people because of their nationality, race and suggesting they are either queer or a terrorist over and over again, bully for you. I personally don't. It's not a matter of lightening up, I just happen to find using xenophobic or racial stereotypes to be crass and ignorant rather than witty and funny. I can only hope one day they run a show in Mexico and he talks about "slapping the tacos out of your mouths" and puts on a Speedy Gonzales accent, the ensuing riot would be fantastic. Guest Fishyswa Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Shane doesn't want to be on TV, he's over it, so to speak. He agreed to the homecoming segment because it made sense for him to be there, and it's why he was there for a second before getting stunned. Don't expect to see him involved unless they really need him.
Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 I LOVED him in that segment. It was the best part of the whole segment. I marked for his entrance, the dancing was awesome, and then he enters BAMM Stunner, loved it. And then Linda came, bleeeh
Guest Fishyswa Report post Posted October 30, 2005 They should of had Steph come out next, walk right up to him yelling about how "he can't do that to her fami-", bam stunner, then Linda, who won't get in the ring out of fear, then get's in after she's made a bit more comfy, bam stunner. Would of taken 10 minutes less and been twice as cool. Shane knew what was up.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Wait just a goddamn minute... The Tolands debuted on Smackdown a few weeks back. Then the following week, Palmer Canon mentioned them in his NTI speech with Teddy Long by that same name. Then last week on Velocity, they were "unknown superstars".... and now they're James and Chad Dick? What the hell.
