Comments which don't warrant a thread

Didn't Hogan own the XWF footage? I assume he sold it or he is letting them use it for the dvd.

That's still a random match for this dvd and they once again used the standards instead of the rare stuff that would probably sell to those who already have the first dvd.

I think Jimmy Hart owns the XWF footage.

Not every fan runs out and buys every damn DVD WWE puts out. I would have been pissed if the Iron Man and WM13 matches were left off Bret's DVD because they were on others.

Don't screw over fans like me because you were dumb enough to buy 50 plus wrestling DVD's.

Bret's DVD doesn't have the Ironman.....and wasn't there some talk of Hogan's early work in Japan going onto his DVD? I'd be more interested in that, frankly, since the word is he always brings up his game for them.

Pay $5000 and manage Buff Bagwell!

Well who says dreams don't come true ? Because they do and for one lucky wrestling fan this will be the dream of your life! You are bidding on the right to MANAGE (man) or VALET (woman), TV SUPERSTAR BUFF the stuff BAGWELL as he squares off against former partner BIG POPPA PUMP Scott Steiner .The winning bidder will...

Sign Autographs with Buff at the merchandise table

Be in the dressing room, going over stratigies for the match

and of course go ringside with Buff during the MAIN EVENT ,and manage (maybe even help) Marcus on his way to victory against Scott Steiner !

OK, Bagwell sucks, but you have to admit that's at least a neat idea.

Not for $5000 dollars.

"According to the new Pro-Wrestling Torch Newsletter Kid Kash also has heat because after Batista's return to the ring, all of the guys were supposed to wait in the back and give Batista a standing ovation when he got back to the lockerroom. Kash didn't feel like it, and he said he shouldn't have to "because he is a heel".

WWE officially suspended Kid Kash this week. Although he had been in hot water with management for his behavior, one source says the suspension is solely related to the result of his blood test.

* Anyone understands why "everyone" HAD to give Batista a standing ovasion? What did he do to deserve it?

A Mr. Perfect dvd has to include footage of him making half court basketball shots.

Along with footage of his fight with Lesnar that nearly caused a plane crash! (j/k)

Wow, just think of all the classic matches Sting has had in TNA, like...um...

I think he wrestled Jeff Jarrett one time, and had a tag team match with Christian that was OK...

This has to be one of the dumbest reasons for suspension I've ever heard if its not related to Kash's blood test. First of all what did Batista do to deserve a standing ovation? I guess this wasn't Kash's time to go all "Bill Watts" backstage.

The way this company constantly makes its talent kiss the ass of the selected few is sickening.

I guess when HHH returns to the ring next week on RAW he'll have to get a standing ovation for being the father of a newborn child.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's just "this company". The whole business has this weird "respect" thing going on, which at times is ok, but at times is over stepping the mark, in my opinion.

I've heard Lance Storm talking about a story to do with seats before, as I'm sure others have, and it sums it up really.

if i'm Batista, i'd perfer a *genuine* standing ovation as opposed to one the boys have to give me. but that's just me.

mind paraphrasing?

Sure, this is from memory, but these are the main points.

He said that when kids he trains go to WWE for try outs, etc. they're always told by WWE people to watch the other matches on the monitors, and by the monitors, there'll be one or two chairs. Storm's advice is NEVER sit down unless there's at least a couple of spare seats, because otherwise someone older and very well respected, like, say, an Arn Anderson will show up, and out of respect, you're obliged to offer the seat to him. If Arn turns down the seat and chooses to stand, of course he'd be fine with it, but if any of the rest of the boys turn up and see some new kid sitting in the only chair while Arn has to stand, they might get the impression that it is disrespectful, and you can get a whole lot of heat for it.

He also said he tells his kids not to go to catering, because similarly, you're in a no-win situation. He said he'll see, say, Shawn Michaels and HHH (and everyone else) sitting there eating, and even he, as a pretty well known guy won't know whether to interrupt them and say hi, or just ignore them and risk looking rude. So he said for any young guy or unknown, it's an even harder situation. He said you can get heat by not saying anything to people, and the boys will think you're stuck up, or disrespectful. Or you can go and introduce yourself, and they'll think you're arrogant for interrupting them just to do that. I'm pretty sure Lance Storm also said something along the lines of you can't introduce yourself to everyone, so if you do to some people and not others, you can also get heat for that.
