Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Is this worse than Auburn's Vaughn against LSU last year yet? Or does he still have it because of the sheer quantity of misses?
Guest Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I think it's worse. The SEC has everything but kickers.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Oh, wow. On the XP! If Arkansas wins 24-23, then it's definitely, definitely worse than Vaughn.
randomguy Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 That was an incredible catch by Arkansas. Edit: On replay it was good, but not incredile. And somebody makes a kick!
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 And Lee Tiffin will never, ever kick again. Unreal.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Why are SEC games usually so painful to watch.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Stanford losing 22-3 at home vs. Wazzou. Unless they can beat Arizona at home, they are going 0-12. Poor Bored.
Bored Posted September 23, 2006 Author Report Posted September 23, 2006 Even though his track record has been spotty since, Tyrone Willingham leaving the school was the worst thing that ever happened to the program. Given the limitations they have due to their academic requirements he acutally did a very good job recruiting and they were always competitive under him. Today with Mark Bradford out for the season and Evan Moore now out for a month they started a walk on and a true freshman at wide receiver.
CanadianChris Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I forgot Syracuse had a game against Miami University today. They'll get a second win, but no more. 2-10.
CanadianChris Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Are they ever going to get the Wake Forest/Ole Miss game started? I assume it's the same weather that's delaying the Texas game. EDIT: Never mind, it just started.
devo Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 I think the Notre Dame/Michigan St. game, if nothing else, will prove just how overrated the Fighting Irish are (or were, I guess).
Vern Gagne Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Even though his track record has been spotty since, Tyrone Willingham leaving the school was the worst thing that ever happened to the program. Everyone would have been better off if things didn't change.
naiwf Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Why are SEC games usually so painful to watch. Because it's the most overrated conference in the NCAA? The "great defenses" have a lot to do with shitty offenses if you ask me. ND's getting taken to the woodshed right now. So much for the genius of Charlie Weis and the fallacy of Brody Quinn becoming the # 1 overall pick in '07 especially with "another year to learn to be like Tom Brady".
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 MSU leads 17-0. Should have been 21-0. USC should be winning this game, but they went for a silly 4th down try.
strummer Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 ah, I see the "Charlie Weiss has to change his offensive gameplan" talk has already started
Slayer Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 State of Michigan to South Bend: "Fuck you."
CanadianChris Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 How silly is the ND administration going to look with that 10-year contract if Weis' second year is as good as Ty Willingham's second year?
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Nice catch there. CHARLIE WEIS GENIUS~!
devo Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Wow, MSU's coach went ballistic there.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 So much for "order being restored". Cocksuckers.
CanadianChris Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 I-AA update: It wasn't a marquee I-A name, but North Dakota State upset Ball State 19-14. What a great year for the school, with the shocker over Wisconsin in basketball at the start of the year to go with this win.
lomasmoney Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Haha, Notre Dame is getting blasted again for the second straight week by a Michigan school. Drew Stanton is looking more like a top 10 pick than Brady Quinn is. I really really want to see ND hit the shitter, and I'm hoping that State can roll into Ann Arbor unbeaten.
Guest Smues Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 UW wins a Pac-10 game and already has more wins then last year, and as many as the last 2 seasons combined. Go Huskies.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 It's hard to believe Penn State lost so badly to this ND defense. MSU's receivers are wide open nearly every play. Says a lot about how overrated Morelli was. I'll laugh if ND is still in the Top 25 after this probable loss. Hopefully Purdue can get 'em next week as well.
Secret Agent Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 59-0 Sooners. Thats the kind of beating OU needed to hand out.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Hey, OU still exists! The announcers' constant hope that ND will come back is leading to mutage soon.
devo Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 The hell was that? I know it's awkward field position, but do you really wanna make it easier for MSU to score and make the gap in score even larger?
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Meh. I still like Weis' aggressive play call there. If you punt, you're only gaining 20-30 yards. And with the weather getting worse, you can't wait forever. USC's 4th and 7 try at the 30 was much worse.
CanadianChris Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 USC's 4th and 7 try at the 30 was much worse. The hell? How bad is their place kicker that Carroll would go for it there?
