According to Fthe French Media yesterday, Saudi Intelligence is reporting that Bin Laden is either dead or dying from a serious infection, possibly typhoid. US and French officials are denying the rumors, obviously due to the lack of credible evidence which will likely never surface. The story is getting some pretty big mainstream coverage though, including the lead story on NBC News tonight, so there's obviously something to it. Obviously Bin Laden hasn't released and video or audio recordings in some time, and his absence particularly in regards to the 5 year anniversary of 9/11 should raise some questions. If you ask me, this was only a matter of time, I mean how long could a guy who supposedly has severe Kidney Disease and is on the run while on dialysis, last? In the grand scheme of things, it's also probably best that he go out this way, rather then have his death turn into some sort of insane Media Circus like Saddam's will end up being.
