It depends on how the networks look at things. Heroes is second in the 18-49 demo (3.9/9) and first in the 18-34 demo (4.2/10). Overall though, they were fourth in the overnights and Dancing With the Stars is killing everything.

 

One thing Heroes has going is that it is usually in the top three in total DVR viewers . The first three episodes a week after they had aired added 3.2, 2.9, and 2.8 million viewers respectively.

 

This probably adds up to more product placement like the Sprint comment in the season opener to make up for losses in ad sales.

You can watch full episodes of Heroes on hulu.com. You get about 5 commercials overall, 20 seconds each...and it's the same one every time. But not bad

I watch the repeats on G4 at 10 on Tuesday cause of The Shield being on at midnight on Tuesday. Bout the only thing I lose is the previews and that's not a big deal at all.

Yes, Global sucks for stuff like that. I'm very grateful that StarChoice doesn't carry Global in HD so that Heroes isn't simsubbed.

NBC fires Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb as executive producers of Heroes because of the low ratings the show has been getting and NBC's dislike with the direction of the show.

Yeah, but they've gotten everything done up until the fall finale, so it'll be interesting to see if they do any rewrites. Also, and maybe I'm in the minority here, but I thought they were getting back on track. Also, they didn't hire someone to replace them?

I think the execs and the people complaining need to go back and watch season one. this is a SLOW burn show. The show was kinda there until Company Man in season one. Season two never got a chance because of all the rewrites to make the shortened season work. Then you were left with Hiro in Japan for almost the whole year when it would have only have been a part of the year.

 

So they have this year, started out slow, are picking it up and they fire the guys. They got one full season and they got that right, and no chance since then. Kinda some bullish.

So let me get this straight. The EW reporter lies in order to put together a negative article on Heroes, the NBC exec read this and thus, fire the head writers? Sucks to be Loeb and Alexander.

 

Rip, I believe the deaths of some regulars can probably be read as "NBC is cutting the budget".

My X-Men markdom is satisfied this week with Vietnam War Vet Collosus. This wasn't a bad episode but it was fairly pointless at times. I'm glad Sylar offed My Chemical Romance because I fucking HATED that he pointed his hand like a gun when he made shit explode.

Shouldn't be. God knows they try and connect every single character to each other. Wasn't really interested in their story

 

I didn't like the episode, feels like nothing got done really.

 

Glad to see the heel HRG again. I liked him better as a bad guy.

I didn't think much of last night's (actually two nights ago, but I saw it yesterday thanks to DVR) episode, especially considering this was after a one-week break. It was good to get some insight as to why Arthur was dying, though, but I hate that he's become so damn powerful and he's just stopping everyone left and right.

 

Also, I think the deus ex machina won't be Claire/Sylar's blood healing everyone, but rather this eclipse thing seems to give people their powers.

I'm still trying to figure out why Meredith and Flint decide to leave Odessa for Houston to get to the Mexican border. Check a map guys, you're doing it wrong.
