Guest Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 No, he got pulled. Save him for Game 1 if we get there or a relief appearance this weekend.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Wow, the Rockies already pulled BK Kim. Couldn't even get out of the third inning.
Guest Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I don't think the Dodgers need to worry about the Phillies being able to gain ground today. A Philly loss almost puts the Dodgers in.
naiwf Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 8-3, LA as Loney's already got 6 RBI.
the max Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Wow, the Rockies already pulled BK Kim. Couldn't even get out of the third inning. Â He would have flipped off the Rockies fans, but they don't have any.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Is that a fact, or is that just your two cents?
vivalaultra Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 In Pittsburgh, the game's been going on about 35 minutes and it's already going into the top of the 5th. Roy Oswalt and that Gorzelany fellow for the Pirates are working extremely quick and the hitters have been first pitch swinging for the whole game. I don't think the pitchers have thrown more than 60 pitches put together. Each team is just trying to score a run in case the rain starts coming again and the game gets called.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I don't think the Dodgers need to worry about the Phillies being able to gain ground today. A Philly loss almost puts the Dodgers in. And karma saw that quote, said "What the fuck?!" and bitchslapped the Dodgers and their fans. 10-8 Rockies, and the home side is still trying to add on to a 7-run fourth.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 On the bright side, I think 15 or 16 runs is going to win that game.
Guest Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Tied. This game is going to go another 2 hours.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 This pitcher for the Pirates is useless. How do you walk the opposing pitcher with the bases loaded?? And he walked in another run on top of that.
Guest Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I love Marlon Anderson. In a non-sexual way, of course.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 You act as if The Giants wouldn't LOVE to keep LA out of the playoffs. Â BTW, isn't it wonderful that the arm of Jose Mesa is right now affecting thje Phils' playoff dreams...vomit.
Guest Paul Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I don't know if they'll be playing ball in NY tonight or not.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Ray King's reaction to both homers was awesome. He looked legitimately confused on how that happened.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Loney's tied the Dodger RBI record.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I hate you, Colorado Rockies.
Precious Roy Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 The Dodgers are now up 17-10?!???!??
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 17-11 after a Todd Helton single, 2 outs, Rockies on 1st and 2nd.
Guest Paul Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Breaking News: Â The Phillies won't make it. Oh, and I got to watch that Joe Carter HR again last night. Even as a Yankees fan, I so marked out for the Phillies meltdown.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 That's a pretty silly claim when the Phillies just punked the Marlins and the Dodgers have a rivalry series to end the season.
Guest Paul Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 We shall see how Sillie it was...
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Eh, personally, I see: Â Phils win tonite, take 2/3 from Florida. LA wins today, takes 2/3 from San Francisco. Â So you'd be correct. But that's pretty damn close and to simply announce the Phils aren't making it before the series starts is kinda nuts. Â Hopefully Phils can win them all and LA drops a game. Who knows, with the way the Phils/Dodgers/Padres have gone super hot and super cold, maybe the Padres might start to suck. Everyone's on the road. Could be a few surprises as teams at home try to end strong for the fans. Well, Florida doesn't have home fans, but ARZ looked good last week, I think, against San Diego?
Guest Paul Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Only a few days left... Â Anything can happen.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 91 year old Twins owner: "I'd rather play the Yankees because I know we can beat them." Ha. Hahahahaha. I hate the Yankees but the Twins are playoff jokes.
tominator89 Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I'm not sure they'll get the Phillies/Nationals game in tonight.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Is there a storm in the NE? I'm in the middle of NY/WAS and it's pretty nice out. After the bullpen massacre of last night, a 2-0 quick win in 6 innings would be nice.
