Guest Felonies! Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 The problem with Lieberman that he's pro-Iraq War and in an election that many are saying is a referendum on the war.......that's not really good. Lieberman is a Democrat in name only and he's not even that anymore. He's pro-censorship and pro-war, he's as liberal as Cryme Tyme is white. Are you kidding me.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 DAMMIT! Lieberman wins. There goes the chances of a Democratic majority. He'll just rejoin the party, stupid. Actually, there's rumors that he'll join the other side. And most of his votes came from Rs & Is...
Big Ol' Smitty Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Anne Northup lost in Louisville. *Howard Dean scream*
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 CNN showing that lieberman actually got more republican votes than democrat votes, by a significant margin
Guest Felonies! Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Lieberman is going to caucus with the Democrats or rejoin them outright. Don't be ridiculous. He's not joining the Republicans.
Quasar Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 The thing is, Lieberman is on the fence and could go Republican. Ned Lamont is a safe Democrat. God knows, we need more of those in Congress. I mean, how active has this Republican controlled Congress been anyway?
Guest Felonies! Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Let's see how long Olbermann can hide his shit-eating grin.
BUTT Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 If Kinky loses, it's the fault of college kids. Kinky had like...50,000 friends on both his Myspace and Facebook accounts and he's really been pushing for the young vote. However, most college kids only added him cuz his name's Kinky and had no intention whatsoever of voting for him. I hate college kids. Good for nothing bums. 50,000 college kids wouldn't win him a freakin' election. And how many his "online friends" live in Texas?
KingPK Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Let's see how long Olbermann can hide his shit-eating grin. Stewart and Colbert should have a field day tonight.
NoCalMike Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Hey I'm no smoker, but seriously a ban in bars?!?! I hope Issue 5 didn't pass, I mean you will have a lot of pissed off people and a lot of defiant bar owners if that law passes. Actually, ever since the ban happened in CA, it has been a god-send to bar patrons. All it really does is make people go outside on the patios to smoke, which is not that inconvenient, and it is rather CHOICE for people who don't smoke to not have to injest the fucking shit all night long. Trust me, smokers still go to bars in DROVES.
Timmy8271 Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Looks like Allen will win VA. Oh joy, I'm glad i don't live there.

So, yeah...100,000 college age kids plus the other Kinky voters probably woulda been enough to win him the election. And that's the problem...alot of the young people that had Kinky bumper stickers and were talking Kinky for the last few months either don't live in Texas or just backed him cuz of his schtick, which is pretty damn entertaining. If Kinky doesn't win, hopefully Chris Bell wins. If Rick Perry wins, I'll be sad.
Mecca Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Looks like Allen will win VA. Oh joy, I'm glad i don't live there. MSNBC reported that northern Virginia was the part of the state that hadn't come in yet.........that's the democratic part...so who knows.
KingPK Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 (edited) Can't there be some standard percentage of precincts reporting before networks call these races? Projecting a winner after just 1% is kinda ridiculous. Edited November 8, 2006 by KingPK

Didn't Wolf Blitzer say earlier that they don't know which precincts are reporting?

Well Fox news would tell you nothern VA blew up and doesn't count now.
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 that always confuses me too. The only thing I can think of is it matters which precincts have reported in. Illinois could have 30, 40, 50 percent, but if you don't have the Chicago metro area, it's almost useless. I also wonder how many numbers the networks actually have back there, but aren't allowed to actually reveal until a specific time? I saw Fox news project a winner and showed him being down like 10%! huh?
Big Ol' Smitty Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Can't there be some standard percentage of precincts reporting before networks call these races? Projecting a winner after just 1% is kinda ridiculous. Yeah, how do they do that?

MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Cardin winning doesnt surprise me, but Omalley winning would and I havent heard about the Gov race cause no one cares nationally..
DMann2003 Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 I've had that VA site open and the vote count has gone from a 10,000 vote diferrence to 2,000- I don't know what to believe anymore.
KingPK Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Looks like no wine at supermarkets in MA and no casino in RI. Alcoholic degenerate gamblers are weeping.
NoCalMike Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 George Allen winning is a fucking embarrasment. Shame on you Virginia.
SuperJerk Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 Santorum is conceding, and wants to thank God. That makes two of us.

2GOLD Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Santorum is conceding, and wants to thank God. That makes two of us. Finally, some proof a God of some kind exists. How that guy lasted this long is a joke. Now if we can get Ted Kennedy out in the future, things will be looking up!
Vampiro69 Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 George Allen winning is a fucking embarrasment. Shame on you Virginia. If we want to pass blame lets also look at New Jersey. They constantly have corruption take place there and look what they elect.
