2GOLD Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 If this is the season finale, does that mean we'll be seeing re-runs from now on? Cause you know, that would be great. CLASSIC RAW, instead of the two feuds that won't accept they are dead.
Black Lushus Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I'd love to see 1997 all over again...my favorite Raw year.
The Amazing Rando Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 If this is the season finale, does that mean we'll be seeing re-runs from now on? Cause you know, that would be great. CLASSIC RAW, instead of the two feuds that won't accept they are dead. Maybe they can just run FOREVER, even when the people involved are actually in other feuds... like when Austin and McMahon were feuding but it was Austin/Mankind/Corporate Dude, Austin/Taker, Austin/Kane, Austin/Rock, Austin/Show...
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 keep him away from Brooke Hogan for christ's sake...how lame would that be? "You dishonored my girl, Orton, now you're gonna have to pay!" Harry seems like the worst fit for that type of angle... He's quite fugly in every pic I've seen of him. The only way I could see it working is if he saves Orton from treating Brooke like shit, and Brooke settles for the sweet, ugly boy. Which is hardly the best way to get a n00b over.
razazteca Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I thought it was WWE Law to give every new unknown wrestler a shit gimmick for 2 years so they can pay their dues and when the noob screws up there is an easy out to fire them.
Dobbs 3K Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Edge vs Cena: You can't stop it, you can only contain it... INSIDE A FIFTEEN FOOT HIGH STEEL CAGE!!! (until next week when Cena is calling out Edge on the mic again)
Downhome Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 From PWInsider: According to the following press release issued today by rock band Papa Roach, the band's new single, "....To Be Loved" will soon be utilized as a new weekly theme song for World Wrestling Entertainment's flagship TV series, Monday Night Raw. The complete release reads: Papa Roach '... To Be Loved' by Guns N' Roses & Wrestling Fans? Band to Join GNR for Upcoming Tour Dates Current Single Becomes the New Theme for WWE Raw SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The members of Papa Roach are finding their band loved by the masses these days. The 10X Platinum selling rockers will join up with Guns N' Roses as a special opening act for the band's first eight shows this month. "Papa Roach and Axl Rose, perfect together," remarked lead singer Jacoby Shaddix. "I know GNR fans rock, so these shows are going to be explosive." Papa Roach's new album "The Paramour Sessions" is the band's fourth consecutive album to debut Top 20 on the Billboard album chart. And now, the first single from the album: "... To Be Loved" will be used as the opening theme every week on WWE Raw. "We're stoked that the WWE liked this track enough to use it every week," remarked drummer Dave Bucker. "WWE fans are passionate and I think our song is going to fit perfectly with them."
iliketurtles Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I heard this song last night on ESPN for a video package about the 2006 MLB season. and I thought it would make a good wrestling theme. Go figure.
Hawk 34 Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Probably next week on the season premiere. That's great they are FINALLY changing the damn song but let's see change in stage and production value.
TheFranchise Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Think we'll get another Bischoff appearance tonight?
Mike wanna be Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Can we stop seeing the same matches over and over again please? Remember back when they built hype for a match based on who was in it, not what gimmick it was? When was the last time we wanted to see Cena/Edge because it was Cena/Edge, not Cena/Edge TLC, Cena/Edge Cage, etc.
The Niggardly King Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 For the "brand new season" of RAW episode... should they try doing some debuts?
razazteca Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Well the fans could not enjoy the Edge/Cena feud because the first 5 times it was being overshadowed by Shawn Michaels' serious face and McMahon making everybody kiss his ass and so by having these gimmick matches the fans will finally get to see how Lita botches the belt as a weapon spot!
Downhome Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Here is a possible spoiler for RAW tonight, from PWInsider: Eric Bischoff is backstage in Topeka, Kansas and is slated to appear on tonight's Monday Night Raw.
razazteca Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 For the "brand new season" of RAW... should they try doing some debuts? It's going to be like the Homecoming show with all of the WWF legends of the past being seated at ringside so that Randy Orton can spit on them. It's time for Hogan to make his quarterly appearence to boost the ratings but it won't work because the baseball World Series is going to get all of the fans from the only 2 markets that matter i.e. NY and CA. Will Raw have the new talent to debut that isn't a comedy act or speaks with a bad accent?
RonL21 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I know this isnt Smackdown..But I was wondering...Is Vicky Gurrerro a "diva" now? Someone has to replace Trish on the Diva DVDs...
Quasar Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Live from the home city of Fred Phelps................. MONDAY NIGHT RAW! And the RAW season finale starts with D-Generation X!

ChrisMWaters Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Well, I guess next week will be the new Raw theme.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 The cage can't be up all night. They actually leading with the championship match? Oh wait, the 40 year old "rebels" have to talk first. Edit: My bad, I thought they already had the cage down for some reason. My mind is wandering in my old age.
TheFranchise Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I can't believe Unforgiven was only two weeks ago. Seems like a lifetime ago.
RonL21 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Just for once, I want the fucking blue bars back. That'll should be a gimmick match...Classic Steel Cage Match
TheFranchise Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Just for once, I want the fucking blue bars back. That'll should be a gimmick match...Classic Steel Cage Match
Quasar Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 "Are you ready to suck it?" Hunter, Fred Phelps is watching! Don't you know that he hates fags? Don't bring your faggerity to Phelps' home of Topeka, Kansas. Are you trying to get RAW killed?
BorneAgain Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Why, precisly are DX stil together? They took out the McMahons, the reason they teamed together. Why stil team?
Quasar Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Here comes Fred Phelps' new executive assistant Jonathan Coachman.
TheFranchise Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 'do you think that you run monday nights?' Jesus, even Coach is shooting now. Christ, a Texas Tornado match!' It's last week all over again!
