Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2006 Â The only album I've considering buy the record of to frame and hang. Too bad it's ridiculously tough to find and subsequently, pricey.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2006 Same exact problem, Bruiser. Been looking for that one for a while.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2006 Same exact problem, Bruiser. Been looking for that one for a while. Â I long ago faced the facts and accepted it was eBay or bust if I was ever gonna own the damn thing. Even then, I've only seen a couple; most have gone upwards of $50. A great deal of them are from areas like Japan, so even if you get it for a good price, the shipping's going to hurt. Â That said, the moment I come into any amount of easy money, I'm ponying up and getting it.

Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2006 Well, since you guys are taking this seriously, I'll say that the only better-than-average ones posted in this thread are Liquid Swords and the ODB. Â Outkast's second, third and fourth albums had good covers: Â (Note I am not using the alternate, psychedelic cover with the nude woman) Â edit: Furthermore, Stankonia's cover proves to be a rare exception to the fact I usually dislike album covers featuring members of the band. godthedog 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2006 'the w' is a good idea for a cover. it would be better if it didn't look like it was designed in 30 seconds on a really cheap computer graphics program.

Isn't this the case for a disproportionately high number of rap albums? They always look so amateur. For example, look at Chopper City in the Ghetto. Look at the terrible effects on the text! That Big Bear one is even worse. Good find. Â EDIT: Oh God, is it dripping honey?!?

Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2006 Were I to be serious, I'd say Fear of a Black Planet or Illmatic  However, don't underestimate the power of a bad rap cover
Guest Felonies! Report post Posted October 6, 2006 It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back looks kind of neat, and the title is really cool, though as a middle-class sweater-wearing midwestern white kid, I can neither utter this sentiment, nor even cleverly use the album title itself. Â Â IT'S HONEY?? God, it only gets better. It's like a scavenger hunt of bad.
Special K 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2006 Â Â Funkadelic has the best bad covers though. The Elctric Spanking of War Babies is a classic.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back looks kind of neat, and the title is really cool I love the title, and but I think the cover is just so-so... just a picture of them in a jail cell, though I think the conjunction of that with the title is what makes it work. By comparison, the black planet eclipsing Earth with FOABP written in sort-of Star Wars font just looks really cool to me
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 Striking photograph, certainly, but I'll be honest: it wasn't until months after this came out that I realized the woman on the right wasn't really happy.
