DMann2003 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 This is the gameshow where actual questions get asked, but it's non-vulgar Bob Saget hosting :-( Still been watching this and so far it's a cool concept. Anyone else else watching?
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 It's a cool concept, but the questions have been obvious so far
DMann2003 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 Yeah, but questions really don't matter as much, in shows like this it's about watching the money totals climb.

bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 he should have walked at the 100 grand. You should never walk away until you use up the two lifelines
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 He was smart to take the money
DMann2003 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 At least someone has a legitamate shot at reaching 1,000,000 here, honestly no one is going to go that far on Deal or No Deal, unless it's one of those bonus weeks where they raise the top prize.
DMann2003 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 And Bob's right, always use up all lifelines in any game show before walking away.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 I played the online game and got down to 1 v.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 I just wonder how much simpler these tv game shows can get. It's really all about a large sum of money, a popular and likable host and easy concept that any one can follow. At least there's some intelligence needed here (although the questions are easier then WWTB), unlike Deal which just asks for random number selection and some basic math. DMann2003 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 So, 18 people couldn't figure out how many divisibles by 3 were between 1-26 vs 3 not knowing what 'badunkadunk' meant?

Guest Smues Report post Posted October 14, 2006 I love gameshows, but I can't stand Deal or No Deal. I'll have to check out 1 vs 100 tonight.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 Bob Saget isn't exactly a good host for a show like this usually game show hosts are either the angry british type or the overly excited types like Regis or Howie. Bob Saget is neither and looks bored on stage. When he ask the contestant "Are you sure" he has the "You are one stupid moron" look on his face. I think Bob Saget should give the game show gig to Uncle Joey.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 A) The dude is getting married and yet he asks the Deal or No Deal Girl for help..uh..yeah.. B) Since I dont watch AI, Im glad there were some other people who didnt know who sat in the middle.. C) Im sure Ken Jennings really needs to win another couple thousand bucks. Theres four more game shows coming up..The Rich List, Set For Life, Show Me the Money! and Name that Tune..it feels like its 1999 all over again! GAME SHOW MANIA! Jimmy Kimmel is hosting Set for Life on ABC, William Shatner is hosting Show Me the Money for ABC, some random brittish guy is hosting the Rich List for Fox and Donny Osmond is hosting Name that Tune for CBS. naiwf 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2006 This show was really bad. The trivia questions have to offer SOME challenge. I just don't think watching people decide whether they want to give back $25,000 to answer the next question which will be just as easy is enough to keep the ratings. That 2nd mob must have been comprised of JHS dropouts though. 28 people missed the first 2 questions!
