Just John 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2006 He was one of my favorite WCW SN jobbers. I think my favorite match was when he teamed up with Scott D'amore and Lenny Lane to take on The Giant in a handicap match on Nitro.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2006 Here's a guy that's kinda interesting. He was on almost every program for WCW from like 1990-1998 or so, hundreds of matches...he jobbed in almost every one of them but he had just as much television time as most main eventers. Anyway, RIP, condolences, etc.
Guest TheGreatWesuke Report post Posted October 16, 2006 I remember him more-so jobbing in the WWF late 80's. Being the jobber mark that I am, I totally marked out when he showed up in WCW. RIP
Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2006 Was he the one with the neon-hands on his ass?
Hasbeen1 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2006 Sad. He was only around 35 years old, I'm thinking. He got to show more of his ability in Smoky Mountain and in Memphis than on WCW. Good talented wrestler, came along before the smaller guys really got much attention.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2006 He was definitely always a fun jobber to watch. Gave the aura that although you knew who would win, at least the match would be entertaining. I did mark out when I saw him defect to the WWF only to go back to WCW. RIP.

Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2006 No, Maggs never really got pushed in WCW. He was pretty much exclusively enhancement talent. I'm sure he had a few televised wins, but they were few and far between.
