After last year's debacle where the fraternal order of police teargassed some kids for no apparent reason, the City has decided to further punish the community. Halloween on State St, a proud tradition of drunken fun, will now be a five-dollar admission affair with the local bars closed down. LAME. The police force cant handle itself so just vent all frustrations on the people who did nothing. These bastards make that Houston cop seem like a charming grandmother. Of course, this is different, because unless your Halloween costume is "Asshole Driver," you don't have Illinois plates on your back, so they can't target you as easily, but who knows. If the cops have to kick some skulls in to make a point, more power to 'em. "Oh no, rioters got tear gassed!" Give me a break. As far as the out of staters, a whole lot of 'em get invited by friends who go to school at UW-Madison, so it's just a lame excuse. That professor in question should be fired, though. I dont give a shit what somebody from Minnesota says as it is people from that state that account for about 60% of all the citations/arrests on State St. Again, it panned out last year that the police acted in a highly overzealous fashion and used teargas when it was never needed. So, in accordance with having already fucked up, the city goes to the extreme in the wrong direction. You enjoy mindless policies, that's nice. You got back up though. Invader thinks we need to pay a 50% income tax and build massive walls to KEEP EM OUT!
