Nah, he's at UVA, which is extremely lenient even for college. This is "drunk girl at a football game, date gets caught with a flask." I'm surprised they even notified her parents--generally the university hospital releases people the next morning unless the student specifically requests they call his/her folks.

Nothing exciting happened today, my legal advisor recommended I do a pre-conviction program, so he told the judge and my hearing was literally 10 seconds. I have to do 10 hours worth of some alcohol class and then once-a-month meetings with a probation officer for several months. Seems excessive, but at least it didn't come with a conviction.
