Hank Kingsley Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Because they'll take more than they should from the liquor stash in your room, make a complete scene at the game, catch attention of security and eventually get escorted to first aid and then the hospital. This leaves me to have a fun conversation with the popos and get summoned for underage possession. She's fine after a few hours under IV and discharged to go home with her parents (who seemed more appreciative that I was there with her). So I was 100% honest and cooperative and the cops told me multiple times that they appreciated that. What lies ahead?
FroGG_NeaL Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Nothing. You didn't do anything wrong unless the chick is too young to drink. Then you're fucked.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 That's why you try to get them drunk in the cozy confines of your dorm or apartment. The fact I'm saying this to someone with a "I'm with a rapist" avatar makes me laugh for some reason.
Black Lushus Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 cops always appreciate cooperation and honesty...makes their jobs easier...but you're still fucked! I think giving alcohol to a minor is a misdemeanor punishable with a fine and like a year of probation, however, the fact that she needed medical attention could possibly bring some jail time.
JangoFett4Hire Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 cops always appreciate cooperation and honesty...makes their jobs easier... Unless you're in a band, then they'll just kick the shit out of you.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Nah, he's at UVA, which is extremely lenient even for college. This is "drunk girl at a football game, date gets caught with a flask." I'm surprised they even notified her parents--generally the university hospital releases people the next morning unless the student specifically requests they call his/her folks. You're fine, Supes. As a matter of fact, you're above fine, because you're weren't a douche to the cops. In a worst-case scenario, you'll have to do 20 hours riding shotgun on Saferide or something like that.
Black Lushus Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 oh it's a campus cop thing, not like a city cop deal? well yeah, that could be different then.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 For his sake I hope Supes isn't black.
dubq Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 For a second I thought Superstar was SuperJerk and that this had something to do with one of his students. Well, the story'd be more interesting that way, at least.
Hank Kingsley Posted October 31, 2006 Author Report Posted October 31, 2006 Nothing exciting happened today, my legal advisor recommended I do a pre-conviction program, so he told the judge and my hearing was literally 10 seconds. I have to do 10 hours worth of some alcohol class and then once-a-month meetings with a probation officer for several months. Seems excessive, but at least it didn't come with a conviction.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Those classes are expensive. You're getting ripped off. It would've been faster and easier to sit in jail for a couple days.
Failed Bridge Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 you need to find yourself a black guy to blame. Nobody is going to suspect you're making it up if you tell them "That black guy went and got that pretty young white girl drunk, not me". Basically, frame Ripper.
Black Lushus Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Atticus Finch would like a word with you, Fridge
Hank Kingsley Posted November 1, 2006 Author Report Posted November 1, 2006 The class and the probation program were only $75 each, so it's not a big deal. $116 in court costs for ten seconds was a little frustrating, though.
Annabelle Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 superstar needs to start hanging out with girls his own age...
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Also, why is it that Banky is always the one to bring that up from the past?
