Guest Princess Leena Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Blah. Just keep handing it to Ballard. I love hosses.
CanadianChris Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Still early, but it's not looking too good on a Buffalo cover. They're down 17-0 after one quarter.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 The rankings once again are altered as Rhode Island upset #15 Maine 3-0. Liberty's also leading #22 Coastal Carolina 13-7 entering the 4th quarter and Towson is beating #25 Delaware 21-14 as they're about to enter the half.
snuffbox Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Badgers finally take the lead, 27-24 in the 4th.
CanadianChris Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Temple's winning! TEMPLE'S WINNING A FOOTBALL GAME!!!!
snuffbox Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Wisconsin won. PJ Hill had only 50 yards as he was injured, twice.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 #22 Coastal Carolina came back and then hung on to defeat Liberty 28-26, nice. Cornell upset #18 Princeton 14-7 as well. Man... these two past weeks are full of upsets. Definitely gonna make the playoff format interesting as to who slots where.
snuffbox Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 We need someone to cover the divison 3 teams too. Go UW LaCrosse!
HarleyQuinn Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Towson and Delaware ended in a shootout and surprise, surprise, the 3rd upset of the week occurred. Towson defeated #25 Delaware 49 - 35.
Bored Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 This USC team is reminding me a lot of that 2002 Ohio State team everyone loved to hate by their ability to consistently look beatable but pull out wins every week. God I hope ESABCPN dumps this Ohio State game soon. This game soooooo should have been an GamePlan only affair.
snuffbox Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 I didn't even know Towson has a football team, and I lived in Baltimore.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Against just about anyone else I would never say this, but GO BEAVERS!!!
Bored Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 Well this certainly isn't promising. Oh well if this holds up it at least means the Pac-10 champ will be in the Rose Bowl, and until there is a playoff that's where they should be every year. On the other hand it's probably going to be Cal which I hoped to never see in my lifetime. This USC offense this year is proving how good Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush really were.
CanadianChris Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 FINALLY we get switched away from the OSU blowout. This Miami/Georgia Tech game looks headed toward a good finish.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Awesome, Beavers keep USC off the board from 1st and goal.
Bored Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 That's the ball game. USC had score there to have a chance going into the 4th. Guess it's only fitting they finally lose a regular season game on the same day Temple finally wins one.
Vern Gagne Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Three winless teams remain. Duke, Stanford, and Florida Int'l.
Hawk 34 Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Great, another 2 months of futile and repetitive commentary on the "evils" of the flawed BCS system and "glorious" concept of a playoff system with some 1 loss team playing the Big Ten winner and some other team(s) spending the entire month leading to the bowl games bitching about being screwed. I say this in regards to most of the media likely not being happy about the idea of Louisville or WVU in the main game instead of a regular powerhouse program like Florida, USC or ND.
CanadianChris Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Georgia Tech now solidly in the driver's seat in the ACC Coastal, after beating Miami 30-23.
Cartman Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 As much as I hate it I think he's out...foot touched the white. You can tell by his white nike symbol on his shoes. Regardless NCAA Steve Smith looking like NFL Steve Smith today.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 As much as I hate it I think he's out...foot touched the white. You can tell by his white nike symbol on his shoes. Yeah it looked like he was out but there was no way that was getting reversed
Bored Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 12 catches, 259 yards for Steve Smith. But...it's over.
