dubq 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2006 Did anyone pick up any of the versions that were released today? I'm either waiting for the Wii version, or waiting until I pick up a 360 to get that version. I have to say, though, I am more interested in the controls for the Wii version. Seems really cool. Either way.. whos your dream team from the playable roster? I'm gonna have to go with Iron Man, Captain America, Nick Fury & Deadpool.
Use Your Illusion 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2006 I think I'll get the PSP version, I want to tear it up as Captain Marvel. Count me in on the Nick Fury lovefest as well.
Guest bushwickray Report post Posted October 27, 2006 I did something that I never do with these games...I bought both the PSP and Xbox 360 versions. The PSP dosen't have the greatest graphics but I gotta tell you the 4 exclusives play great. I beat Fing Fang Foom in a snap as Captain Marvel. And Hawkeye plays great too. If you have a PSP and you love Hawkeye you gotta get this game. I've made a promise to beat the PSP version using only the exclusives. That way it plays diffrent. The 360 version is awesome as well and is the definete version to buy. Collusus is 100 times better in this game than he was in the X-Men games and Moon Kinght is fun too. If you don't have a 360 yet get it for the PSP. It seems like a waste to buy it on the PS2.
Craig Th 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2006 I really want to get this game, but I still have to beat Bully and Family Guy. If I get this game now, I won't finish either of those games.
Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2006 I'm thinking of getting it for Xbox (I haven't jumped onto the next-gen bandwagon, and probably won't for the time being).
haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2006 One thing that really brought a smile to my face is the improvement in graphics between the current-gen systems and the 360 version of this game. I really wasn't expecting more than a high-res port of the current gen stuff, but seeing how much better Galactus looks on the 360 blew me away. This is a must buy to me now. Craig Th 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 I rented it for the 360 and I am having a blast with it. Daredevil isn't one of the characters but there are a few locked people who I have no idea who they are.
WukenBloodstar 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 Daredevil is in, and he's a beast with his Batans. However, my favorite characters HAVE to be Deadpool and Ghost Rider. Err..how do you do Special moves in the game?

Ginger Snaps 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 Is this like the X-Men legends games.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 Is this like the X-Men legends games. Pretty much but there are some added mini-game style challenges that make it a bit more interesting. Oh, and I've been kicking ass with Wolverine/Elektra/Deadpool/Spider-Man.
Craig Th 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 I've been using Captain America/Wolverine/Spiderman and switching people in and out. Who are the locked characters?
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 You unlock Blade in Murderworld. You unlock Black Panther and Daredevil after finding their 5 respective action figures throughout the game.

Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 Is it like X-Men Legends, where it's usally a compound environment, and just a series of objectives that see you go back and forth like Diablo with four characters? That was my only complaint with the X-Men legends game. It could get quite tedious.

That was my only complaint with the X-Men legends game. It could get quite tedious. Not sure about that, but I'd read that what you do determines how the story goes, and that there are alternate endings. So, at least it's not as linear as XML 1 & 2. Ginger Snaps 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Is the gameplay the same as XML though? Four characters at a time, each with their own special powers they can use, which you can upgrade? I liked the XML games but they were so straight forward. Not much replay value.......they needed some side quests or something.
dubq 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Is the gameplay the same as XML though? Four characters at a time, each with their own special powers they can use, which you can upgrade? Yes, it is. Go read the review at IGN, it covers all of this.
luke-o 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Daredevil is in, and he's a beast with his Batans. Thank god. Now i can buy the game.
WukenBloodstar 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2006 Yeah, Daredevil is pretty sweet, his double jump is a LOT higher than everybody else's double jump. His special throw is a Huracanrana, which is pretty funny when you do it. Moonknight is pretty good too, and Ghost Rider is a demon when you upgrade his hellfire, and pop points into Deadpool's health regen, same with Wolvie, it's really busted.
