Red Baron 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 I don't know what is going on for tomorrow night game. I mean with all of these wacky games this week Seattle defence might be playing tomorrow.

randomguy 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Who would have figured? I did, last week, when I pointed out that "Mr. Clutch" missed two easy FGs in the superbowl. Edit: I feel sorry for Brady, 4 INTs and at least 2 were wacky tips.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 VINATIERRI MISSES!!!!!! It's so surreal to cheer when the guy misses one!
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Wow. Vinatieri misses. I was expecting this to happen in the post-season instead of now. However, Tom Brady did it again. This will only push the Manning=THE GREATEST! hype machine into overdrive.
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 And Brady with another pick.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 4 picks? Really surprising. It's not the Colts' secondary is lethal or anything either.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Fuck! Kevin Faulk had a horrible game, missed a bunch of easy catches. Brady throws 4 picks and only one of them was his fault.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 The undefeated hype machine is really kicking now since Indy doesn't have a real threat aside from Cincinnati if it becomes a shoot-out and even that is a stretch at this point. Jacksonville stands probably the best chance and Indy took care of them once this year. Dallas and Philly aren't as good as their fanbases insist. The rest of the Colt's line-up is scrub teams in Buffalo, Tennessee and Houston leading up to the Miami finale.
cd213 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Are we going to see Manning-Bowl II, this time in Miami?

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Oh God, what if Miami beats the Colts on the last day of the season like they did the Bears today? Anyway let me check out how I did today in the picks, somehow I doubt I'm going to like it. Sunday 1:00: Atlanta (5-2) at Detroit (1-6): Vick has been on a roll, the Lions suck as usual. Unless something really bizarre happens the Falcons should win this handily. Atlanta by 10. (Everytime I wanna start digging the Falcons they do something like this. 0 for 1) Green Bay (3-4) at Buffalo (2-5): Packers have won a couple recently and the Bills have remembered that they suck. I'll take Green Bay to win this by 6 and improve to .500. (The NFC did not have the greatest day today. Bleh. 0 for 2) Houston (2-5) at NY Giants (5-2): Giants have been rolling lately but the Texans have improved a bit at least. Still, the Giants should win this one with room to spare. Giants by 14. (As I said, NFC not having a great day but at least the Giants won by 4. 1 for 3) Miami (1-6) at Chicago (7-0): Oh god. You want an assrape? Bears by 28. (I'm surprised by this, and yet somehow not after the AZ game. NFC, bad day, etc. 1 for 4) Cincinnati (4-3) at Baltimore (5-2): The first real toss up game here. The Bengals seriously need a win but the Ravens may have found themselves offensively. I'll take the Ravens to win this by 7 with some hesitation. (What is this, a game I had dead on? 2 for 5) Dallas (4-3) at Washington (2-5): Can Romo make it 2 solid wins in a row? Can the Skins somehow get off the mat? I'll take the Cowboys by 10 here. I think they're just a better team. (Skins won in one of the weirdest games I've ever seen. 2 for 6) Tennessee (2-5) at Jacksonville (4-3): Titans have been playing a bit better of late, but somehow I have a feeling Vince Young will get beaten down by the Jags' D here. Jacksonville 14-10. (Schitzo Jags back playing well here. 3 for 7) Kansas City (4-3) at St. Louis (4-3): This should be a fun game with offensive fireworks. Should come down to home field, so I'll take the Rams to win it by 3. (NFC...bad day...you know the deal. 3 for 8) New Orleans (5-2) at Tampa Bay (2-5): Saints might be starting to get exposed a bit and they had a struggle with the Bucs the first time. I think Tampa pays them back and wins this one 21-17. (Saints pleasantly surprised me and won easy here. 3 for 9...I SUCK) 4:00: Minnesota (4-3) at San Francisco (2-5): Vikings got their asses kicked by the Pats, how will they react? Niners got killed as well, but that's to be expected. Vikings will rebound and win this one by 7. (Stick a fork in the Vikings after this week. 3 for 10) Denver (5-2) at Pittsburgh (2-5): Steelers are actually favored to win this one. Somehow I don't really see it given the way they have been playing, especially if the Broncos can continue to actually (gasp!) score. Broncos by 10. (Hey, I got one right! 4 for 11) Cleveland (2-5) at San Diego (5-2): Should be a beatdown, but the Browns seem to somehow stay in games where they should get squashed. Chargers by 14 regardless. (Whoa, another one right. 5 for 12) 8:15: Indianapolis (7-0) at New England (6-1): Why do the Colts seemingly always have to play at New England? It's become the 21st century version of the Packers constantly having to visit Dallas. Anyway, everyone has to lose at some point so I think the Pats pull out the usual lucky as hell win over the Colts by 3. Vinatieri will miss a possible tying FG. (Well, Vinatieri did miss but the Colts won the game. Glad to be wrong on this one. 5 for 13) This has to be the worst week I've had yet in predicting. The NFC really embarrassed itself today against the AFC, with only the Giants staggering to a victory over an AFC team. In addition some teams that looked like contenders in the NFC lost baffling games (Atlanta to Detroit, Minn. to SF, even Dallas to Washington. It's funny but if you had told me today that there would be 1 unbeaten left I'd have assumed it was Chicago.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Atlanta (5-2) at Detroit (1-6): Atlanta by 13. (Whoops! Who'd thunk that the Lions would've pulled it out. 0-1) Green Bay (3-4) at Buffalo (2-5): While the Packers are good, Buffalo will get the win here, mainly because of their defence. Buffalo by 8 (Correct because they're defence, but not what I expected. 1-1) Houston (2-5) at NY Giants (5-2): I'm going with Houston here. Carr is going to have one of those games that'll rip through that Giants secondary. (Close, but Giants pulled out the win, 1-2) Miami (1-6) at Chicago (7-0): I predict Chicago will have 50 by half. (1-3) Cincinnati (4-3) at Baltimore (5-2): Bengals by 4 (1-4...My god its a good thing i didn't bet this week) Dallas (4-3) at Washington (2-5): Romo and the Boys will make this game an ass kicking. Cowboys by 19 (oh man...1-5) Tennessee (2-5) at Jacksonville (4-3): Jags will win, but on the last possession. 17-14 (or on the first possession, which ever works 2-5) Kansas City (4-3) at St. Louis (4-3): St. Louis will win, because they are good at home, and Huard will face a much stronger defence. (FUCK YOU ST. LOUIS! Glad Kansas won, but I picked the Rams 2-6) New Orleans (5-2) at Tampa Bay (2-5): Tampa moves to 3-5, as N.O. goes back to normal. 28-10. (Oh man this is bad, 2-7) 4:00: Minnesota (4-3) at San Francisco (2-5): I'm going with another upset, Niners by 3. (Close, by six...3-7) Denver (5-2) at Pittsburgh (2-5): How is Pittsburgh the favourite? Especially losing to Oakland? Bronco's by 9. (4-7) Cleveland (2-5) at San Diego (5-2): LD with 3 TD's. Don't expect the Browns to roll over lightly. 34-27. (5-7) 8:15: Indianapolis (7-0) at New England (6-1): What an awesome Sunday night game. Though the Colts will lose, and lose bad. Pats by 14 (5-8)

Craig Th 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 I went to the Pats/Colts game and boy, did the refs blow this one? Maybe it was different because of the angles we had. But is looked like the refs were making some horrible calls. And it didn't help that Peyton is amazing and Brady played like shit.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Oh man that was so awesome. I almost veered off the road twice snapping as I was listening to the Patriots getting beat by the Colts. In New England. So great. 4 Interceptions, Brady. FOUR INTERCEPTIONS. Yeah, I know tipped balls, whatever. FOUR FUCKING INTERCEPTIONS TOM BRADY GOD DAMN THAT IS GREAT. I'm done. I was really down about the Bears loss, but Grossman laid another egg, Barrian went out, and Urlacher went out in the fourth. Major drag. In a way, I'm kind of glad they got their first loss out of the way before a touch road stretch. Less pressure.

The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 I'm looking forward to the Raiders win tonight. I don't understand all this jump the fucking gun talk with the Bears... they're going to the Super Bowl this year, so calm it down guys.
Guest Felonies! Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Not if Berrian and Urlacher miss significant time, or if Grossman doesn't learn to handle pressure, they won't.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Before the season they were a good Super Bowl pick before people started noticing Berrian and thought Grossman wasn't a great starter. All that's changed since then is Urlacher being out and no one knows how long that's going to be. This isn't college ball where one loss knocks you out of contention. Chill. The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Seriously, the only team they have to worry about is the Giants, but they seem like the type of team that will beat themselves towards the end of the season.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Not to mention New York has something of a soft defense, one a tough running team can exploit.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Seriously, the only team they have to worry about is the Giants, but they seem like the type of team that will beat themselves towards the end of the season. Hm, the Bears are being exposed. The nearly lost to the Cardinals and they drop to the Dolphins yesterday. Now, I think they will be a factor come playoff time but I think there are some teams that could beat them come playoff time.
