Santa Clause 3?!?

The fuck?

I remember as a young kid when the first one came out, I stood in the longest line I ever stood in for a movie. The wait was probably 90 minutes and combine that with the typical impatience of a kid, it felt like days.

at least its supposedly the last one..unfortunately for Tim Allen's movie career..but anyway..

The biggest thing is they are pushing a Christmas movie the weekend after halloween..I guess they figure that it should be able to have legs and keep making money all the way til Christmas BUT that annoys me..

I read that it beat out Fahrenheit 9/11 for the biggest box office total for a flick under 1,000 theaters.

Fahrenheit 9/11 had $24,078,959 at 868 theaters with an average of $27,558 for it's opening weekend.

Borat has $26,375,000 at 837 theaters with an average of $31,511 for it's opening weekend.

F 9/11 probably had the most free advertising aside from Passion Of The Christ in the history of movies. I would say Borat is much more impressive.

I've been told that as soon as the promotion for Borat is finished up, they're going to start a Bruno movie done in the same way as Borat. Is there any truth to that?

Universal paid 42.5 million for the rights to Bruno, with half that going to production budget.

This is awesome. The movie itself is the funniest of the year, so it deserves it's #1 spot.

That's fine by my. I agree that he isn't as funny as Ali G and Borat as a whole, but I still laugh my as off at Bruno at times. I'll see it for sure.

I loved the bit Bruno did with the Christian pastor, and Bruno was asking him which activities were allowed by God and which ones were not. He asks "Is it ok to be fabulous?" and does that motion with his arms and hands, and then the pastor's response was just simple something like "What exactly does that mean?" Just the way both of them said it was awesome.

I think Bruno has plenty of material to work for a flick.

I agree with all above said about Bruno, but I hadn't heard anything about Bruno. I heard on the radio the other day that Sasha was developing a brand new character and he wasn't releasing any details in advance, so that people would not be aware when he went to film the movie.

Employee of the Month $27,447,000

Eat it, Dane Cook.

Cook is eating all the pussy that you wish you could get. He makes alot of money and has every college white girl after him. I am sure he doesn't care about some film not doing well, especially when nobody projected it to be a hit.

You can't see me as a box office success.

I fucking loved Borat. My girlfriend...not so much. She finds it funnier when we quoted the movie afterwards than when we saw it. Plus,

the added subplot of him falling in love with Pamela Anderson

was a little too much for even me. Overall, fucking hilarious movie, but it doesn't warrant the great ratings it's getting everywhere.
