shit, now I have to sweat out that Meriweather is there in 5 picks.

Don't be surprised if Quinn is still there at 26 if the Eagles are the ones to trade out with Cleveland.

Why would Cleveland take it? It'd be clear Philly only drafted Quinn to trade him. Philadelphia's better off not taking that sort of gamble. Cleveland, seeing Quinn fall further and further down, probably would be confident in him landing in the 2nd round if he doesn't go to KC or Dallas or somewhere like that. After that their only concerns would be Baltimore and Detroit.

Looks like Cleveland got nervous and figured they should go for it now. Could have likely waited, really. Outside of Baltimore, who was going for it? Quinn really wins here. Lands at "home" and gets Joe Thomas. He'll make his money back in endorsement deals.

I meant they would trade the pick to Clev, not take Quinn then trade him.

Next year's 1 (which will still be top 10) and this year's third is sick for Dallas, especially considering who is sitting there now (nobody spectacular).

I'm surprised that Greg Olsen is still on the board, and even more surprised when, after Lynch, Peterson, and Ginn were taken, that Green Bay didn't go for him and went defense instead. Not that I'm complaining, because they've needed a big stud in the first round on the d-line for a while, but I'm surprised that no one'spicked this guy up yet.

And there you go Browns fans, you've got Quinn. That worked out nicely.

Oh man, I bet Dallas raped the Browns.

What's with you idiots thinking the Bills were guaranteed to take Quinn. Lolz.

As overrated as Quinn might be, you have gotta feel good for the Browns, picking up a franchise tackle and then a franchise quarterback in the first round. Now if they can only figure out the running back situation and maybe the WR situation, they'd be set.

I don't know, maybe we were thinking that the Bills would do something right for once. I won't be making that mistake again.

Savage is trying to save his job by making himself the hero. Now even if Cleveland goes 5-11 or something this year, firing Savage would lead to outrage since he got Quinn and Thomas. The Cowboys must have known that, and managed to just rape the Browns in this trade.

You could edit the quote "What's up with you idiots thinking Losman was a good answer for Buffalo. Lolz." Quinn > Losman big time. Not that I thought Buffalo would pick Quinn though. Jauron is quite an idiot when it comes to those kind of things.

I try not to do the edited quote sort of thing. I hope Buffalo enjoys picking 10th-15th for the next 5 seasons.

That's 3 prospect QBs at Cleveland now, going to be interesting to see who goes where. 2nd round this year and 1st round next year for Quinn is a big pay off, hopefully it works all well for the Browns. As for the RB situation I hope Lewis can return back to his best this year - but I doubt it.

lol that 'Fins fan was going to break down.

Quinn was the right choice? Spending many millions on a QB with accuracy issues and never performing in a big game?

Lolz.

I know it's cool to hate on Losman here, but he was actually effective last year. And showed major signs of improvement in his 1st full year as a starter. The Bills would be stupid to give up on him now.

Lynch is exactly the type of all-around Thurman-like back the Bills want... but, I too have questions about him. As a pure runner, he's nowhere near 12th pick value. And durability will definitely be an issue, when the Bills want him as their main back.

Losman's a serviceable quarterback, that's it. He's never going to be any better. (This is to say, under Jauron, that is)

I'm surprised the Chiefs took Bowe, but that's a pretty good pick. Now if they find out who's going to be throwing him the ball...

Who's to say he will never get any better? He has a connection with Lee Evans, he seems to be improving. Drew Brees has a few years of mediocrity before he became the elite QB he is now, it could happen with Losman.

Can someone please take Greg Olsen already. I don't want the Bears to be tempted.

Why not? The Bears need a TE.

Big game experience is way overrated when looking at NFL prospects. When pointing out a guy like Brady Quinn, I can point out a guy like Cade McNown. Or Joey Harrington.

There's nothing wrong with having Losman and Quinn. It's better to have multiple options.
