devo Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 That was a nutty play. I was convinced that the Patriots' luck had saved them from a turnover for all of two seconds.
Cartman Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Is Patriots Luck a statistic? If so do they lead the league in it or something?
devo Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 I imagine the Patriots would lead the league in "Patriots' Luck", yes.
Richard Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 We're losing to the fucking Raiders. How is this even possible?
Cartman Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 I imagine the Patriots would lead the league in "Patriots' Luck", yes. Or it could just be that they are a pretty good team and have been for several years despite people continually claiming their success somehow has alot to do with pure Luck.

Fun with turnovers. Man.
CanadianChris Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 This is just unbelievable. Every time I think a team is going to put a drive together, there's another turnover.
devo Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Not that I'm upset or anything, but wow that's a generous penalty.
Guest Felonies! Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 See, there's Chicago's luck. Who thought they'd suddenly decide to enforce interference on either side?
Cartman Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 This is what happens when 2 great defensive teams that have mediocre offense's play each other. Brady is awful the majority of this season. If the receivers were flat out dropping passes every game I could have sympathy for him losing "his" guys but he really has done an awful lot of over/under throwing all season.
Cartman Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 if by "Enforce" you mean blow calls then definitely!
CanadianChris Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Ah, the Benny Hill music. PERFECT.
Guest Felonies! Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 And that failure to get a first down might cost the Bears this game unless the defense does a great job here.
CanadianChris Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Tennessee's come all the way back on the Giants.
Guest Paul Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Oh, this is just sick...Eli, for christ's sake...
Spaceman Spiff Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Titans tie up the Giants at 21 w/ about 40 seconds left. Vince Young had a couple big scrambles on the drive, finishing it off w/ a TD pass. Big (non) play on the drive was Kiwanuka giving up on a possible sack of Young, only to have Young scramble around 20 yards for a big 1st down on 4th & 10. Kiwanuka literally spun Young around, then let go, I guess thinking Young would have went down. Young stayed on his feet, and ran for the 1st.
teke184 Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Oh, this is just sick...Eli, for christ's sake... I think it's safe to say that San Diego seems to have gotten the best of Atlanta (Vick draft-pick trade) and New York (Eli-Rivers trade)...
CanadianChris Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Holy shit. Giants look done. Dallas should run them right off the field next week.
naiwf Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Eli, Plax, Kiwanuka and Coughlin all need to go. This team is a fucking joke.
teke184 Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 SD intercepts the Raiders to ice that game, 21-14.
teke184 Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Chicago gets a timely fumble recovery to give them new life with about 1:52 left.
CanadianChris Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Oh my God, Dillon fumbles. FIVE turnovers now.
Guest Felonies! Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 And Grossman just lost us this game.
teke184 Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Pats INT on the next play. Good job, Rexy.
CanadianChris Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Holy shit, does ANYONE want to win this game??
alfdogg Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Looks like I'll be boycotting ESPN for the next few days.
