Extreme enemies

November 21, 2006

Recently, Paul Heyman extended an invite to Matt and Jeff Hardy to appear on ECW on Sci Fi. The brothers haven't competed together in nearly five years. Will the former members of Team Xtreme accept his offer?

Also, it has been learned that Rob Van Dam and Hardcore Holly will face off in an Extreme Rules Match this week. After weeks of turmoil, what will happen when there are no rules to stand in the Extremists' way?

Heyman kicked off the last ECW on Sci Fi announcing that the sixth and final man to join the other competitors in December to Dismember’s Extreme Elimination Chamber would be determined.

Lashley made sure his signature ended up on the contract as he tossed Hardcore Holly like a rag doll, marched to the ring, then speared Big Show on the way. Will the ECW World Champion be able to regain some pride in time for his team's big match against John Cena's team at Survivor Series?

In addition to Lashley's big night on the last ECW on Sci Fi, Mike Knox had another chance at getting out his jealous aggression toward CM Punk. Knox, however, fell short again. Kelly smiled through the whole match and rooted her boyfriend's opponent on. Will Knox continue going after Punk after witnessing Kelly's reaction, or has he learned his lesson?

After his match CM Punk reasserted that his strategy to obtain the ECW World Title involves only himself. Along with the other Extremists set to compete in the Extreme Elimination Chamber, Punk stormed the ring during Lashley and Holly's match in the night's main event. All of the men exchanged blows, showing no allegiance. Will the upcoming competition spark new rivalries?

Finally, Daivari and The Great Khali continued their domination as they rolled through ECW Original Tommy Dreamer. Another new Extremist, Elijah Burke, faced his first challenge as he substituted for Tazz at the announceers' table. What is next for these new additions to the ECW roster?

Find out the answers to all of these questions and more next week (tonight) at 10/9 CT on ECW on Sci Fi.

I wonder whose going to job to Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy tonight and Hardcore Holly vs RVD rematch, woot!

That's like giving some jobber a pedigree to finish with.

*(please, no Punk lines) - That finisher is gonna only be remembered for one guy.

God bless the Bulldog.

Dustin Rhodes did the running powerslam as well and I think of him before Davey in terms of the running powerslam.

I thought Rhodes always just did a snap powerslam.

I hate to say it but the running powerslam will always be known as Davey boy's move.

Oh, okay.

Again, I can't watch this live, so what's been happening, I think I gathered that the FBI were the Hardy's opposition.

Lashley squashed Striker (who cut a quick generic promo prior)

Hardyz beat FBI.

Heyman threatened to take RVD's spot away from EC match if he loses to Holly tonight in EXTREME RULES match.

Thorn beat Punk down until Punk countered a boston crab into a kick combo and anaconda vice.

Kelly celebrated with Punk, Thorn and Ariel attacked but they got chased out. Knox stands in aisle. Kelly hugs Punk and Mike looks sad.
