2GOLD Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Never underestimate the power of CGI and Penguins! NEVER Shock of shocks, Pick of Destiny went down in flames.
King Kamala Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 I didn't think it would win, but I thought Pick of Destiny was going to be int he top 5 at least and probably the top 3. I bet the execs place the blame on Kyle Gass.
Hawk 34 Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 The execs couldn't have really expected anything that isn't marketable to anyone outside a very narrow niche. This was a novelty movie and it'll make the money back at the DVD sales.
Pegasus Kid Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 WTF is Pick Of Destiny? I've never even heard of it.
Lord of The Curry Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Bobby barely cracks the top ten opening weekend. Sorry, Emilio. People don't care about politicians dying unless it's Bush being assasinated.
bob_barron Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Bobby barely cracks the top ten opening weekend. Sorry, Emilio. People don't care about politicians dying unless it's Bush being assasinated. Death of a President tanked even worse. The negative buzz killed Bobby

It looked dreadful. And does anybody even give a shit about Emilio anymore?
tominator89 Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Pick of Destiny was unimpressive. On the bright side, my movie ticket won me some nice raffle prizes. I got a copy of their DVD, the new CD, and guitar picks.

It looked dreadful. And does anybody even give a shit about Emilio anymore? Nope, people hate politicians now and probably don't care about the good old hippy days when "one person could make a difference".

People don't care about politicians dying unless it's Bush being assasinated. Death of a President tanked even worse. The negative buzz killed Bobby Negative buzz? I thought the critics were having a collective orgasm over it. Hey, I'm a fan of RFK, but was this movie even about him, or just a bunch of people talking about how they felt the night he died, with very little actual connection to the person? Because that sounds really, really dull.
bob_barron Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Only has a 52 rating at metacritic, and I believe a rotten rating at RT
Ginger Snaps Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 I want to see the Bond movie. No one I know wants to go see it with me, but I like Daniel Craig a lot. He's always been good in the films I've seen him in. I guess parents are taking their kiddies to see the penguin movie. I thought it looked stupid.....I love penguins, I just can't take any more animated movies with Robin Williams acting like an ass.
