Guest Felonies! Report post Posted December 2, 2006 Denis Savard's Chicago Black Hawks travel to Nashville, which inexplicably has an NHL team, for tonight's game. Vokoun is not starting for the other team. Three in a row?
the max 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2006 Bruins v. Hurricanes at 7. Bruins should be seeking revenge for being absolutely humiliated the day after thanksgiving. Thomas has played well lately, especially the other night against Toronto, where he had 45 saves.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2006 Ottawa looked mostly dominant against Tampa Bay tonight, avenging their only defeat in the last two weeks. Toronto-Montreal is a classic. The Habs fought hard to erase a two-goal deficit in the third. Looks like they're going to a shootout.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted December 3, 2006 The Sabres are losing tonight. Obvious fatigue.
Guest Felonies! Report post Posted December 3, 2006 Jeff Hamilton scores in the first and final thirty seconds of regulation, then again at 0.59 in overtime for the hat trick (and an assist, too) to give Savard's Blackhawks their third win in a row. This could be the start of something big.

What a game at the Bell, and I'm not just saying that because Im a Habs fan. It was video game hockey during the last two periods after a disgraceful first by the Habs,
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2006 Any word on the injury to Rivet?
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2006 "It's a joke. There's no place in the league for that. I hope he gets suspended and fined, and does not play here again". Well its a loose transcription, but he probably said the same thing when Ovechkin cheap shot (somewhat) Daniel Briere.

Guest Felonies! Report post Posted December 3, 2006 Havlat's return into a more aggressive coaching style, along with the emergence of Salmelainen, might get the Hawks into a fight for 8th place eventually. Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2006 the Ducks must have traumatized Edmonton. the Oilers lost their last two home games 11-3.

Guest Report post Posted December 4, 2006 I hope that every Kings fan is thanking the Ducks for existing and creating this rivalry. They play today and tomorrow. I wonder who will goaltend for the Kings. Marc Crawford had the answer to your question.
Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 I didn't ask a question. But Bryzgalov's hurt again, and this was his first game in a while. Hmph.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 Yes you did, you asked who will goaltend for the Kings the next game. That is a question. Anyways, Chad Kilger of all people broke Al Iafratte hardest slapshot record with a shot of 106.6 mph.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 Sorry to split hairs...but "I wonder who will goaltend" isn't really a question. It's an interrogative statement, however. I'm really looking forward to the Bruins-Habs game tonight. Boston's hot, and Thomas is really starting to show some mettle. On the other hand, the B's have lost seven of eight and six straight to the Habs, who are also on a tear. Throw in the Original Six factor, and I'm expecting a great clash. Red Baron 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Good game between Montreal and Boston tonight as it is 4-4 at the end of the second period. Huet got pulled too, and the Habs leave it up for Abby to finish the game.
the max 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Jason York is a -3 in about 12 minutes through 2. I think he's got pictures of Lewis fucking babies or something. I can't understand why he's allowed to travel with the team, let alone is paid to play for them. Oh and by the way, this is like watching a replay of the Sabres game at the beginning of november. Bruins up 4-1. Bruins go into a defensive shell. Bruins can't pass the puck out of their own zone. Montreal slowly creeps back into it. Lewis doesn't call his timeout when they start coughing it up. All we need now is a shootout loss for the Bruins, but the way that the defense is playing right now, there's no way they're letting that happen. Thomas has been left out to dry a few times with breakdowns, but he's had shit rebound control. Ugh. I need to go lay down.

Stuart made it 5-4, but Souray tied it up on the pp. Five different scorers for each team.
the max 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Boston wins after another Stuart goal makes it 6-5 and then they get a powerplay after it took the refs quite a bit to count the number of Habs on the ice...and barely outlast the Habs for the win. The Bruins are not even close to being a playoff team with York, Primeau, Mowers and Donovan as major players in the lineup.

I certainly wouldn't fear Boston if I were a top four team at this point, but if Thomas keeps it up, there's no reason to think the Bears can't get into the post-season. I certainly wouldn't fear Boston if I were a top four team at this point, but if Thomas keeps it up, there's no reason to think the Bears can't get into the post-season. There are quite a few reasons. York is just. I can't even think of a word here. Awful is an insult to awful hockey players. It's like, everyone else is playing hockey, York is playing skeeball. Primeau had a good game tonight, but he's been a gigantic bust since The Trade That Shall Not Be Named. Donovan is a bust. Mowers is AHL quality, basically Tom Fitzgerald from last season, but he must be blowing Lewis for ice time. The Mowers-Primeau-Donovan line was on the ice in the final two minutes of the game. That is inexcusable. Goaltending depth. Thomas needs a night off (probably next game). If Toivonen still isn't over his sophomore slump, there is nobody else. Brian Finley needs a new groin muscle. Phillippe Sauve needs talent. Kevin Regan isn't close to being ready. Sigalet would probably be called up if they absolutely had to...otherwise, you're talking about making a move for one of the overpriced albatross goalies (Nabokov...) or claiming Sean Burke off waivers from Tampa, where he should be selling fucking used cars because his career ended five years ago. They finally managed to steal one tonight, but I'm not pegging them for the playoffs until they get their cards in order.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Wow, York is still in the league? We got rid of him years ago, and I thought he was pretty much used up then.

CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Brett Hull gets his number retired tonight in St. Louis. Maybe more than 5,000 people will show up. A few games should be one sided, based on history tonight (Avs/Blue Jackets, Sabres/Bolts), but I'm interested to see how the Thrash/Leafs and Blues/Wings go...The Leafs and Wings have dominated their respective series, but are coming off losses in said series. Guest Felonies! Report post Posted December 5, 2006 When did Saint Louis give up on hockey? I heard their gates have been dangerously low lately. Sad story, as they've always been a good hockey town. vs. Minnesota tonight. Savvy goes for #4. This might be the shot in the arm that Chicago Blackhawk Hockey needs! Getting outclassed by the Wolves is shameful stuff. They even have Pat Foley, ferchrissakes.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 St Louis gave up pretty much after they had their consecutive playoff births snapped. Its been all downhill since for them. I'd also like to say its more so when Al McInnis retired, since that was around the same time.
