2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 The opening of Finding Forrester with the marking showing the beginning of the film confuses me to this day. Was it supposed to be a documentary? What the hell was the point of that?
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 Well, I liked Elephant. I can't justify why, but I really do like it a lot. I even bought the shirt the blond kid wears in it. Here's me wearing it: People have complimented me on the shirt in relation to the movie, so some people do like it. Still, the best movie about a school shooting, I'd say, is Zero Day. Might want to check that one out.
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 Uwe Boll made a school shooting movie. IIRC, it's called Heart of America. I saw it for $2.99 on sale on DVD at a local video store. I wasn't brave (or stupid) enough to get it.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 7, 2007 Aside from Bustah Rhymszes untalented-ass, Finding Forrester was pretty good. And I've heard good things about Drugstore Cowboy. Drugstore Cowboy IS an awesome movie, and my favorite coffeeshop here is in that movie. Fun stuff.

AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 I was bored watching the 2 minute trailer. I can only imagine how un-interesting the film was. The only part I'm moderatly interested in seeing is the shooting up the school part, just to see how it was shot. Probably poorly by the sounds of it
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 The shooters were very nonchalant about everything...just effortlessly shooting everyone. I don't know how Eric and Dylan were in reality, obviously, but I can't imagine them being THAT laid back while everything was going down. It felt so random. I'd say it's worth watching at least once, just to experience the crap first hand.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 I didn't know Van Sant made a film based on Kurt Cobain: "Last Days" I still say if they ever made a real movie about Cobain: Ewan McGregor gets the call there...though he might be a bit too old at this point. cd213 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 Actually from what I heard when they were shooting Last Days in Seattle, Michael Pitt walked around town and people actually thought it was the ghost of Kurt Cobain. Van Sant is a very strange director. He seems to take time off during shooting to do really nothing at all. He also doesn't use the script much during production. He does A LOT of improvising and tells the actors to do the same, at least he does this on movies like Elephant and Last Days. When my mom was doing the payroll on Last Days, he drove her nuts with all the reshoots and days off they had. Next to The Good Shepherd, this was her least favorite movie to do payroll for. Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 Come on, it has Patrick Muldoon, Michael Pare', Clint Howard, Lochlyn Munroe, Maria Conchita Alonso...can't go wrong with that list of A stars!
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 Fun fact- one of the 2nd pair of bare breasts I saw was Maria Conchita Alonso in Moscow On The Hudson. The 1st was Linda Hamilton (or her stunt double)'s very brief boob shot in the otherwise dreadful King Kong Lives
