Sacha Baron Cohen and Hugh Laurie in the same place (again)? I'm so there. Much, much love for Borat getting the love he really deserves. Sure just a nom, but that's worth something.

 

Oh, and what's with DiCaprio being nominated twice in the same category? How can he compete with... himself?

I love seeing Borat nominated. Not that it will win either. That Best Actor in a comedy is interesting to say the least just in terms of I would see them giving it to the Kinky Boots guy just because they wouldn't award the others (although most likely Johnny Depp). Even though it's the Globes, I think the Best Supporting Actor is by far the most interesting category in terms of picking a winner. Also, I was surprised to see DiCaprio and Eastwood get two nominations in the same category. I just don't remember ever seeing that before.

I think Hugh Jackman should've gotten a nomination for The Fountain. Ditto for Aronofsky and the movie in general. At least Mansell got nominated for his great score for it.

Well it is good and they have aired 11.

 

In 2004, Sopranos, Deadwood, Nip/Tuck and 24 got nods. Sopranos and Nip/Tuck had 13 episodes while Deadwood had 12. (Nip/Tuck won that year) Yes, they ran full seasons. But just because a show only ran 11 episodes, they shouldn't neglet it.
