Hawk 34 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 I'm going to miss Cower's angry antics.
naiwf Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 I'd like to thank the Vikings for rolling over and dying.
Hawk 34 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 After a nine minute, 99 yard drive, Willie Parker coughs the ball on the one yard line and Cincinnati recovers. They made the most of it and bombed it into the end zone for a TD to take the lead and now they need to sustain and hope for SF to give them a favor.
CanadianChris Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 I think we can put the Jets in the playoffs. They're up 20 on the Raiders in the 4th. And they just picked off Aaron Brooks again. Any chance that the Packers had at the playoffs is gone, as Minnesota is taking an absolute shitkicking at home at the hands of the Rams.
Hawk 34 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Looks like Palmer is hurt again, but not the leg. He walks off the field and looks like Wright will take over for at least this series. Edit: Just one play and Palmer is back. Appears to just be a case of getting the wind knocked out.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 So tonight's game is now (ultimately) meaningless! Hell, tanking it might even be fine considering we'd get a better draft pick out of it.
Hawk 34 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 So tonight's game is now (ultimately) meaningless! Hell, tanking it might even be fine considering we'd get a better draft pick out of it. How the hell will the draft order shake out? Damn near every team went 7-9 or 8-8. Edit: Tony Stewart catches the ball on the goal line to give the Bengals the lead once again.
CanadianChris Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 So tonight's game is now (ultimately) meaningless! Hell, tanking it might even be fine considering we'd get a better draft pick out of it. It won't make that much of a difference. The Packers are in the middle of the round anyway. Plus, I doubt Favre is tanking his final game.
Matt Young Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 TD Dallas... motherfuck. I actually WANT Detroit to win, for once, and they will blow it, in typical Lions fashion.
CanadianChris Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 Detroit TD. Awesome. EDIT: And Romo fumbles the ball away deep in his own end. Even more awesome.
naiwf Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Carson Palmer is the shiznit. Come on Lions hold on to that lead.
snuffbox Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 When was Brett Favre's retirement confirmed?
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 When was Brett Favre's retirement confirmed? They mentioned it between Bill Cowher retiring and the Ravens winning the Super Bowl.
CanadianChris Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 Oh my God, the Bengals missed the game-winning FG. Two weeks in a row.
snuffbox Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Well that's as good as Biblical then.
Matt Young Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Well, that's it. Vikings lose (no surprise) and the Packers are out.
naiwf Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 The Bengals entire kicking unit needs to be released. Those faggots probably cost them a playoff spot in the last couple of weeks.
snuffbox Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Dont let alfdogg hear you talkin' like that.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Sooooo. 9-7 Dallas @ 9-7 Seattle 8-8 New York @ 9/10-win Philadelphia High seed plays 10-6 New Orleans, low seed 13/14-win Chicago. If the Bears fuck this up, I don't know what I'm gonna do.
devo Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 I am really, really proud of the Jets' performance today and just their season in general. My expectations for this season have already been completely exceeded, so any wins from here on out are gravy. I don't know what would need to happen for the the Jets to get the Patriots in the first round, but that's exactly what I'm pulling for.
CanadianChris Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 Pittsburgh TD. Bengals are out.
naiwf Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Great, the Broncos are in the postseason. Bleh.
snuffbox Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 The Bengals have to be the biggest disappointment of the season no matter what ESPN says about VICKVICKVICK.
CanadianChris Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 Great, the Broncos are in the postseason. Bleh. Not yet. They need to win now. If they lose, it looks like Kansas City gets in.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 And the NFC East puts three in, at a total record of 26-22. Go NFC!
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 The Bengals have to be the biggest disappointment of the season no matter what ESPN says about VICKVICKVICK. Oh, I agree. Their video game offense should've had them rack up like 11 wins, easy. I have no expectations for the Falcons, because I don't think they'll be worth a damn with The Most Exciting Player In Football.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Sooooo. 9-7 Dallas @ 9-7 Seattle 8-8 New York @ 9/10-win Philadelphia High seed plays 10-6 New Orleans, low seed 13/14-win Chicago. If the Bears fuck this up, I don't know what I'm gonna do. In the third quarter of the NFC Championship game at Chicago, a fan will intercept Rex Grossman's pass which will lead to Joe Buck replaying you know what, but for a good reason this time.
Cartman Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Corey Dillon passed the murderer for career rushing yards. Yay!
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 So, go Bills, Titans, 49ers, I guess. That knocks the Ravens and Patriots down, and the Broncos out.
