Guest Report post Posted January 2, 2007 Kwame Brown's out for 4 to 6 weeks. Now we'll be seeing the "Kobe & Friends" version of the triangle.
Fuzzy Dunlop 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2007 This is a tough week for the Bulls, two tough home games and one road game where the Bulls have been terrible this year. Hopefully Captain Kirk's back soon.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2007 A little birdie on my shoulder told me that Shaq could be back on the 15th against the Lakers. And with that, one of my favorite moments of last season.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2007 Riley's taking a leave of absence. Gotta love these coaches who fuck up other guy's jobs and then move on without a second thought.
Just John 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2007 Man, fuck Pat Riley. Ditches the team when they aren't playing well, someone else turns them into a winner, he gets back on the bandwagon for a championship, then leaves as soon as things get tough again. I hope Stan Van Gundy finds that bum in a dark alley.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted January 3, 2007 Ron Jeremy will give it to Pat.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2007 Kwame Brown's out for 4 to 6 weeks. Now we'll be seeing the "Kobe & Friends" version of the triangle. Christ. My fantasy team is getting decimated. First Krstic is out for the year, then Paul gets injured, now this.
Just John 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2007 It's nice to see T-Mac found his scoring touch during this series of games against random jobbers. If he can keep this up, Yao will have plenty of time to rest. The key right now is staying afloat in the playoff race, and since the West is starting to thin out, being 8 games over .500 is plenty good enough.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 4, 2007 A little birdie on my shoulder told me that Shaq could be back on the 15th against the Lakers. And with that, one of my favorite moments of last season. Indeed. And how surreal was it to see KOBE separating the two?
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2007 I'm sure glad Stephen Jackson is able to find laughter over on the bench when we're on the verge of a double-digit defeat.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2007 It's a good thing Dick Bavetta is on the job tonight, or else I may be enjoying this Lakers-Kings free throw contest game.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2007 TNT needs to get Charles Barkley and Bill Walton to work a game sometime.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2007 Well, this game improved by leaps and bounds from the first half. The Lakers were up by at least 20 in the third quarter, and the Kings just took their first lead with about 2 minutes to go.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2007 And as soon as I say that, Artest is done on a bullshit foul call. We'll see if the Kings can tough it out.

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2007 And the Kings blow it with missed free throws and poor defense, as Smush Parker sends it to OT on an unmolested layup with 00.1 left.

Guest Report post Posted January 5, 2007 I'm so sick of these old men ruining games. I don't think I've ever seen more free throws in my life.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 The Bulls just got hosed as Hinrich was fouled and Wallace got a tip which was waved off as offensive interference. Terrible, terrible no call/call combo.

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 No offense to Amare, but when he's beating you on a break with a behind-the-back dribble and finger roll, it's about time for Gary Payton to hang it up.

naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070106/ap_on_.../bkn76ers_brown Brown returning to 76ers as executive VP By DAN GELSTON, AP Sports Writer PHILADELPHIA - Larry Brown is returning to the Philadelphia 76ers as an executive vice president, nearly six years after leading the team to the NBA finals. The Sixers said early Saturday that Brown will assist team president Billy King and the basketball operations department, and work on other special projects. Brown has been out of basketball since the New York Knicks fired him in June after he went 23-59 in his only season in New York. You've got to be fucking kidding me. Human Fly 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 The East is so depleted, it seemed like it was getting better the last few years but this year seems to the widest difference in talent I can ever remember. This year's Western Conference playoffs should be outstanding. The East's only hope is that whatever team wins the West will be so beaten up badly that they run out of gas.
