naiwf Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 It's oh so nice seeing ND taking it in the buns again.
C Dubya 04 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 I guess the only question is does Russell want to play for the Raiders or not.
Smartly Pretty Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 I predict Quinn goes 93872-93872 with several touchdowns and a qb rating in the high thousands in the fourth quarter and the most amazing bowl season in recent memory continues it's amazingness.
MFer Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Good thing he's huge cause he's gonna have to fend off his fair share of defenders if he goes to the Raiders. He would fit well in that vertical passing offense though.
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Man, that was OFFENSIVE pass interference... the receiver pulled Jackson down.
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Thanks, Landry! Â That makes up for getting fucked 30 seconds ago on the penalty.
Urban Warfare Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Interception LSU. Hopefully they run up the score.
Smartly Pretty Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 I knew Quinn would blow it and throw a key pick.
Hawk 34 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 I guess we're heading for an off-season of Russell=The Next Vince Young talk.
C Dubya 04 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 The refs are trying to keep ND around, but it's just not working.
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 WTF is going on out there? Â ND had a late hit, yet the LSU *BENCH* gets the Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty?
Urban Warfare Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 What a silly throw by Russell. I mean Christ, if this kid was consistent, he'd be the slam dunk #1 pick.
Hawk 34 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Obviously the refs set that INT up. They pushed the LSU player down, leaving ND the open ball.
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 That was just dumb by the ND DB... Â If you get an INT in the end zone, you DON'T run it back out.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Hey they arn't comparing him to Daunte Culpepper for nothing.
Hawk 34 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 That was just dumb by the ND DB... If you get an INT in the end zone, you DON'T run it back out.  Unless you got open field, then you run it.
MFer Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 That was just dumb by the ND DB... If you get an INT in the end zone, you DON'T run it back out. Tell that to Ed Reed. Yeah conventional wisdom says take the knee but being down 20 I think he was trying to make a play and give ND a spark.
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Looks like they're going to grind the clock and keep Quinn off the field. Â Â Good thing that they've got about 6 RBs to spread the ball around to (Justin Vincent, Keiland Williams, Alley Broussard, Trindon Holliday, Jason Hester, Charles Scott).
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 We're coming up on the pre-game prediction I made at work, which was either 42-17 or 47-17.
Slayer Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Looks like ND is aiming for nine in a row now
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Notre Dame got embarrassed? Awesome.
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Overrated chant! That chant always sounds best when it's Hawaii beating up on someone like BYU. Â Not that I'll complain here.
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 OK, that was just freakin' scary... Â They showed someone wearing a Mil Mascaras mask in LSU purple and gold.
iggymcfly Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 We're coming up on the pre-game prediction I made at work, which was either 42-17 or 47-17. Â I've got you beat. Picked LSU 41-16 in the conference championship thread.
teke184 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 And Brady Quinn settles for the announcers giving him a blowjob as a consolation prize.
Urban Warfare Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Congrats to LSU. Great performance and especially sweeter with the huge win coming over ND.
MFer Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Not that it matters but I played against ND's backup QB (Evan Sharpley) in the playoffs my junior year. We won 45-32. He was pretty good (and a 4.0 student I believe) though most of his success came from throwing fades to his 6'7" WR.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Is there anyone who didn't predict a big LSU win here? Besides Lou Holtz of course.
