Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2007 I think the houses in my neighborhood have spent a collective $8,000,000 on fireworks. It's been a nonstop flurry of pops and rocket whistles since 6pm.
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2007 I have people coming over later. Some of us will be drinking Johnnie Walker Blue this evening!
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2007 It's only 6:22 here. I get to watch the Packer game and then around the time that wraps up, some friends are coming over. I can celebrate, get drunk, and be on MySpace/TSM all at once. Huzzah.
Guest Smues Report post Posted January 1, 2007 Happy New Year all. If the fuckhead that's in my parking space ever leaves so I can have my spot back I'll have a happy new year. Funny thing about fireworks, there's a zillion radio ads for some place that sells them, but they'll illegal in Anchorage so at the very very very end of the add they quickly say that they're illegal to use in Anchorage. Guest Smues Report post Posted January 1, 2007 And seriously no more than 30 seconds after that post the fuckhead had finally moved so I got my parking spot back. Happy New Year to all.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 1, 2007 I ran a mile and a half in downtown, Portland's "First Run of 2007" which started at midnight. It was cheap and I need to be available for in about a half hour where I will go out with premium (unleaded) Eastern European girl and get drunk. That, or two Mexican sisters. Or lame ass friend who doesn't drink. In fact, that's least likely because he'll be at home playing his 360, I'm sure. He's my work in progress, see.

You can't buy liquor on New Year's Eve where you work? It's state law that you can't purchase liquor on Sunday. Not sure if that's always the case with New Year's Eve, but it can't be purchased today, either.

Too lazy to go out and see if the liquir stores are open here today, but I know they're open Sundays including yesterday.

Unless it some new stupid shit as opposed to old stupid shit. Ball State University is within driving distance of the Sunday Beer Pastures of Ohio for a reason.
